Smack Talk Forum?

How about it. It would be nice to have. Many other message boards both college and pro include a similar section. Thanks

This is a family friendly board and as the official team board, is held to a higher standard than other sites, where only civil debate is permitted.

Smack talking is not permitted and there are no plans for a smack forum in the future. If you wish to talk smack, there are plenty of other places on the internet where you can do so.

Honestly, I dont think this site is ready for a smack talk forum, we dont even know how to disagree respectfully enough to keep GD clean. I seriously doubt we could keep a smack forum clean. I've seen it work on other forums but its usually a forum that has a lot of "older" members.

I laughed when I read this. I would agree that this forum is very "immature". Disagreements here remind me of when I was in middle school.

If you look at the age of some of the posters, THEY ARE IN MIDDLE SCHOOL And I think the age diversity is great, some of our better posters are 14 and 15 this year. That is why we keep the forums PG.
When looking for posters for the [i]Post From the Pressbox[/i] we DQed 8 posters because they were not 18.

Maybe that's explains why I feel that way.

But seriously I do know we have tons of youths on here. Sometimes they are a good thing, they seem to bring much more enthusiasm and stretched reality that it does the board good. I wonder what the average age of our board is ? My guess would be around 19?

I've noticed the "strectch" in the post-from-the-pressbox nominees. I figure many people have either been a) disqualified or b.) all ready been nominated. I think you guys should give the people that have been nominated before (but did not win) another chance sometime.

Yeah, I still remember that . One of the mods approached me and asked me if I would be interested. sadly I was 15, now im 16. Plus, since the age cutback date is September 1, ill have to wait till im 19 to get a chance! god knows if theyll let me do that for one, and if they'll still have that running. Hopefully, though.

Heh? well 10/6/92 was my birfdaee...and september 1st is the cutoff date for that thingy. so technically theyd thought I was 14 at the time so ill probably be around 19 when i could be eligible.

thats the great thing about the net its not just for one age group. if everyone was respectful and nice we wouldnt need mods to watch over this place but were not were human. i dont think we need a smack talk forum because all it will do is blow up in our face.

I know not a whole lot of people on this site like me anyway, probably because i have a joke attached to most of my comments. I figure i'd lighten up the mood but people take it as an insult. My fault if you feel that way, if i go too far please step in and say something.

Anyway, alot of people on here dont even know im actually 15. Probably because the way I talk and share my knowledge about the Ravens and so on. I should stop being a smart.... butt. :|

i think the age should be changed to 15 or at least 16. im almost 15 and i dont think i can wait another 3 years to be eligible. its the only way ill get to see the Ravens play live until i live on my own because my whole family is redskins fans. Es no bueno!!
