Is Justin Tucker the best kicker in the NFL?

69 posts in this topic

Stats already make a great case for him to be the best kicker in the NFL. But even better, he is one of the youngest kickers in the NFL so he should only get better as his kicking experience grows.

Presently, Justin Tucker has been 92.2% on field goal attempts in his career.

That is the highest percentage in NFL history in a kicker's first 2 seasons, minimum 35 attempts, out of 132 qualifying kickers.

For his career, he has 64 attempts, and that 92.2% is also the NFL's all-time highest percentage for all kickers with at least that many attempts (out of 159).

In fact, 92.2% is the highest percentage in NFL history among all kickers with at least 7 attempts (out of 346).

Uh, I think Prater's a lock to make the Pro Bowl now. That just leaves 1 spot on the roster for Tucker, unless they're including backup Ks in the new Pro Bowl format.
