I swear the Seahawks always seem to have controversial TD calls, lol.   Remember the one with the replacement referees?   But then again, there have been a lot of controversial calls lately... its crazy!

Just hand Seattle the NFC Championship right now.

Then again, I think Carolina and Philly can tangle with them. Those teams can play outdoors, especially Philly.

The only thing giving me pause on the Saints pick is that they're playing in Seattle, which is always tough. I still think the injuries are too much for the Seahawks to overcome though.

Lol! Never underestimate NO's ability to choke on the road.

New Orleans is 0-5 all time on the road in the playoffs. Think about that. The Ravens have 6 road wins in the last 5 years.

Yeah, I reckon there's no way they'd win @ SEA in the NFCCG.

Or better yet, the panthers could win the division

I think that's what I'm hoping for now. I can't see the Saints winning the NFC so I'd like to see someone who can go to Seattle and make it interesting.

Probably end up Philly/Dallas vs San fran with san fran moving on, and Detroit vs Carolina with carolina moving on and then carolina vs saints and hawks vs 49ers in the divisionals. I think panthers can beat the saints in the playoffs.

And yes, Seattle can be stopped. Tampa had them dead to rights a few weeks ago, but they Tampa'd themselves out of the win.

Have to say, listening to Ray Lewis talk about the Seahawks, he sounds so objective and non-biased like he should be. Now if only he could sound like that when talking about the Ravens.

Carolina almost beat them in week one, of course that was a Seattle team on the road in Carolina, not Seattle. Basically they clinched the NFC by essentially clinching the number one seed in the NFC.

Tampa was killing them early in Seattle.

Carolina is better now than they were to start the season. Their defense is the only one I can trust, since SF seems to get smashed every time they go to Seattle (best new rivalry my [fill in the blank]).

Seattle won't be stopped, against tampa they looked the worst they could have and they still won, that doesn't detriment the team in fact it makes them even scarier. And yeah seattle on the road isn't that great and they still beat the panthers so it doesn't even matter.

They got Okung back, they're really deep apparently and will survive without Thurmond for the next few weeks, they're really athletic, and they're really talented.  If I was picking a favorite right now for the Super Bowl, it'd have to be them.

No Harvin's injured hip flared back up when they were trying to get him back.  I dunno if that will shut him down for the year.  I think receiver is one of their weaker areas, and Harvin might be able to set that over the top, but as strong as their running game and as well as their coordinated it's not that big of an area of concern.

When I see or hear Seahawks, it's like a force surrounding their name. It holds a lot of weight....they're definitely Super Bowl favorites and deserve to be.

Their only weakness is their passing attack. We'll se if Harvin can help right that ship...

Even without Harvin, they're not as weak as you might think. They utilize their personnel well and Lynch's threat as a runner makes their play action really effective. You saw that against the Saints on Monday, like on the deep ball to Miller.
