Peyton better give Decker a lifetime of free Papa John's pizza or something after the way he bailed the team out.  :th_pizza-1:

I'm not saying Alex Smith isn't good, but he certainly makes his receivers make tough catches. I don't think anyone caught a pass down field without leaping/diving for it on that drive.

Am I correct in thinking that if we make the playoffs as a 6th seed, we may very well end up playing divisional round in Denver and AFC championship game at NE?

SO, the Ravens got max help, this weekend, in terms of going after the 6th seed: The Browns (4-8), Bills (4-8), Chargers (5-7), Raiders (4-8) and Titans (5-7) ALL lost. Plus, the Ravens took care of the Steelers (5-7), themselves.

Well... I still wish the Jets (5-7) could have beaten the Dolphins (6-6). Darn you, Jets!  ;-(

Thus, who do we "root" for, next week: The Dolphins or Steelers? I actually can't fathom the thought of "rooting" for both the Steelers and Patriots these next 2 weeks when they face Miami...  :gaah:

Hate the Broncos, ugh.

Cincy basically won the division today. But we're firmly in the driver's seat for #6. Chargers, Bills, Titans all went down.

Root for the Phins next week and the Patriots the week after.

If we win out, they'd only have to lose 1 more (probably to Colts or Steelers) to lose the division. I think us winning out is a real possibility too. The division is definitely not yet claimed.

Theatrically, yes; the path to the Super Bowl could very well be a repeat of last year, with the exception being that the Ravens play the Colts in Indy.

Oh, yes Colts too, only over there.

So, SB XLVIII Ravens - Saints, anyone?

Anyone staying around for the NFC Toilet Bowl?

Nothing else on, might as well.  I'm not looking forward to this game.  This is one that, if it was on MNF, we'd be listening to depressed Gruden all night.

This could very easily be an 8-TO game.  I hope Jordan Reed suits up, at least.  Nicks is in Coughlin's doghouse.

Arrowhead's parking lot has a really bad recent history.  RIP to everyone that has died there...

Carrie Underwood's Sound of Music is going to be putrid.  I know it, she knows it, NBC knows it.  Quit advertising her horrid moaning when I'm watching football.
