Because Flacco sucks!

START TYROD

Tyrod should take Flacco's undeserved contract over and be our QB and RB when we cut Ray Rice.

Oher sucks, oline still bad, but they might be getting better. They had to deal with a great defense today, and they held their own. I'm not happy with their play, but I can accept it. The line finally looks like an NFL line, and that's good.

Getting Tyrod in the mix helped us sometimes, but often cost us momentum also. Why would you let Tyrod take a snap after Joe's bomb to Torrey? I dunno, what those gimmick plays are suppossed to amount to, but you can't let them dominate playcalling like this. Seems like we still don't know what we're doing on offense most of the times. -_-

Why when we won easy?

You know better lol. I am sure people are calling for Rice and Flacco, Upshaw for the 15 yarder and Sam Koch and Suggs is over paid Ngata quit on the team--need I go on?

Ray Lewis leadership would fix it. :P

What the hell are we doing using Tyrod on 2 straight read option plays after Jones takes a punt into the Jets 40?  Then of course we put Flacco in 3rd and 12 to try to convert after not throwing a pass in 15min.

Stay hot Caldwell.

I need a summary please. Who played great, good, average and bad?

Nobody played bad, and nobody played great. I think we were average-good across the board. Nobody stuck out in a good way or bad way.

Well, defensively, I guess everyone was great. Not every day you hold a team to three points.

I don't think they were trick plays, moreso a part of the offense today. It almost seemed like that was us saying, ok we can't run traditionally right now, so if we can continue picking up 3-4 yards with tyrod in the game then stick with it.

But it has to be something that if we are gonna do we have to commit to, with practice so we can execute better.

Well, it did improve the run game, but it also took the wind out of sails of the passing offense, whenever they started to look good. I dunno, maybe that's just me. I'm glad Tyrod made some nice plays for us, though.

Been doing... Ill respond later... YEA CHIEFS!!!

Ok, what was the question?

It's become a ritual.  Even did it after the... who was the last team we beat?  Whoever they were, they still had the thread.

DAMMIT CHIEFS!

It was the Jets we played though.

Naw it's not just you. I too thought we went to it a bit too much. Maybe I should have stated this better. I'd much rather see the Ravens work to get Tyrod involved in the gameplan as a athlete, not just as the backup QB running the wildcat or a end around.

I personally don't like taking your stud QB out of the game or out from under center just to run trick plays, it breaks his rhythm as you mentioned. But I'd also like to see you put Tyrod in the slot or work him out of the backfield just enough to keep things fresh and get just another weapon on the field. Tyrod could be a beast, but you gotta find a way to get him involved without it breaking up the offense.

I'd really like to see a Ravens offense that can distance themselves from their opponents by scoring TD's when they have the ball!  you know...like when they get into the redzone!

Graham was outstanding.

That's great. Granted it was against Geno Smith but maybe he plays off this game and look like 2012 Graham again.

Defense was awesome in general.  No complaints there.

Flacco still needs to make better decisions, but he had a good game.  I don't know what happened on the INT.

The running game is still kind of eh.  It was the best run D in the league, though.

The OL still has some issues.  I saw Oher standing around doing nothing a lot.  Shipley didn't have a great day either.  4 sacks isn't good.

I like the wildcat look, but think we went to it too much.=

Another game of 20 or under.  The team really needs to start putting up points somehow.

This is seriously ridiculous people. Flacco thew some amazing passes, and he would have two touchdowns if Jacoby would have hung on to the amazing pass which he had firmly wrapped in his hands for a few seconds and that 66 yard touchdown was absolutely accurate and the definition of a perfect throw. I liked using Tyrod on 3rd and 2 and then some snaps in between, but very few to confuse defenses. If someone seriously says Flacco had a bad game today just cuz of the tiny miscommunication interception, you have no idea what you're talking about. This game was a team effort and there should not be one of these threads for this week. Great team win and gives me hope!!!!!

we had a great game from offense defense an special teams . and anyone saying otherwise is not right. Tyrod did well but you can also see why he is a back up.

Way to go Jones and Flacco, you burned Reed for 66 and a TD. I love the salt in his wounds, for ditching and dumping us for a few 100K after we won the Super Bowl!

I don't get our defense sometimes. I mean when we are at home, in my eye's we are the BEST DEFENSE IN THE LEAGUE. But when we are on the road we are average at best. I thought the saying was suppose to be "Defense Travels". Is it the players not being ready or is it Pees not being as aggressive on the road as he is at home. Ray embraced being the bad guy on the road and the team fed off of that. But this year something is missing when we're on the road.

Also Flacco's numbers in this game looked ok, but watching the game, he was all that good. Who was he throwing too on that interception? I mean Torrey was Wide Open.

brown ran the wrong route by the looks of things. He was better than his stat line indicated, did you see how windy it was?

That is true about the wind. But still Torrey was wide open and Joe was looking his direction, how does he not see him? And he has something against throwing the ball away instead of taking a sack.
