Even though they only played Geno Smith, the defense was impressive today. Holding any team to just 3 points is incredible.

I just want us to win. I don't give a "Fuh" if it's a 3-2 game. A W is a W, that's what I've learned this season. Last year was about not giving up, this year, is learning to appreciate the wins regardless of how they come.

The run blocking is atrocious, no one is denying that.  Pierce is still doing more in these terrible circumstances than Rice is.

I think most of us realized last year that Pierce was a better runner than Rice.  He's not scared of contact and seems better at finding the "hole", and I use that term very loosely with the way the line's blocking.

If I'm right he came out the same year as Jimmy.  If we didn't get Jimmy I wanted him on the team real bad.  I'm not blaming Pierce cause the Jets probably have the best front 3 in the league, just saying I think he's a better pure runner than Rice.

Someone is optimistic.  We have one of the worst rush offenses in the league and the Jets have one of the best rush defenses.  This is a really bad match-up for us.

Touche, I was wrong overall.  I will point out that Rice only got 30 yards on 16 carries (1.9 average) and the team only averaged 2.2 overall.  So it was not a good day of rushing, it was a volume day of rushing.

no argument there. The run did just enough to help set up the pass.
Either way those numbers against the number one run D. I will gladly take that.

yup. As bad as it seems, the Ravens still control their own destiny, and have a chance to take the division. That win over the Bengals helps out a lot.
