Week 12 - Baltimore Ravens vs. New York Jets

Ahead by 16 points, D is playing well, wind is blowing 30 mph, etc., etc.,...take the sack. Smart play me thinks.

I think its a smart play too.  No need to force something if nothing is there.  Especially considering the circumstances.

The run blocking is atrocious, no one is denying that.  Pierce is still doing more in these terrible circumstances than Rice is.

Right. At least he is trying to move forward and not dance around and then fall down.  I luvs me some RR, but he just sucks this year.

Steelers are gonna give us the business if we dont capitalize on short field opportunities

Blah, blah, blah.  We are going to smoke the squealers.

Can someone explain Joe's INT to me? He was throwing to no one. Was it just miscommunication? Because that seems to happen often.

I feel like the Jets have a better defense than the Steelers this year.

Yeah - definitely.  I won't argue with that.  I just hate all of the blame that Rice gets as if it's all on him.  Pierce naturally is a better runner when your blocking completely sucks - he's far more of a power runner than Rice is.

Rice deserves a lot of the blame.  If people can use the 'contract argument' with Flacco, it is even more relevant with Rice.  He's indecisive  and slow to find the hole a lot of the time when it is there, and even in his good years he was always a guy as likely to be stopped for no gain as he was to break the big one.  His average yards were more getting one huge run occasionally than being a sustaining back.  While he's not the only back like that, seems like there are a lot better guys at getting consistent yardage throughout the league.

Just curious, why does everyone pick on our "4th quarter defense" after they hardcore defend Flacco. Our Defense has done nothing but make big plays. Mayabe our "4th quarter defense" would be better if the offense didn't put them back on the field so much with 3 and outs...

And yeah, I saw all of you delete your posts when Graham made the pick haha.

Don't get it either.  I'd also like to say we've still only put over 20 in 3 games.  Our offense as a whole needs to improve.  Everyone last year agreed that the defense was bad, but when we point out bad play by Flacco it's a gang of excuses.
