I'm taking the sack in that position on 3rd down.  Sorry...  Joe Knows Football there.

I'd disagree. He had plenty of time. It wasn't like they were right in his face at snap. After they almost broke his knee, I think I would be a little bit more urgent with my throws

You can throw it at a guy single covered and away from the defender.  I'm not saying always do that, but you have to admit he holds on too long sometimes.

Sad part is...  when you're going down, can you really trust that???  I have seen many a pick 6 like that.. just sayin.  I think he's trying to eliminate some of that.

Yes but if he does that, you'd just watch it and go "Come on Flacco, that pass needs to be better." And I know he's done that a number of times this year.

let tyrod play the rest of this game so joe is healthy for thurs.

not yet!  this game is not over or in hand imo.  IF Joe and the crew can put up another TD then maybe.

WTH kind of penalty was that?!?!?  So, I guess a punter can't be blocked after the returner starts running, good to know, funny I have seen kickers run down returners... makes no damn sense

I honestly think it was more about Jacoby and Joe then Reed looking bad. It looked bad for sure, but with the speed of Jacoby and cannon of Flacco, not many FS make that play imo.

I was referring to him looking sad on the bench, not necessarily on the play.

Right.  Go into a throwing motion with four defenders chasing you and get stripped. smh

There are times to try to throw it away. That wasn't one of them.  Smart veteran play to just take the sack.

I've seen Brees, Brady and Rodgers do it. Not saying to make a completion, he has the arm strength to get it to the sidelines. With the hits hes been taking, I wouldn't take one if I have time to get rid of it. especially with his fumbling past.

Rice has the ability to make himself look worse every time he touches the ball

I just don't understand what you expect him to do when the backside blocker goes completely unblocked.
