Week 12 - Baltimore Ravens vs. New York Jets

1,837 posts in this topic

Ya know what scares me? We can't pick up interior blitzes and our interior pass blocking is shaky. What does Rex Ryan do best? Dial up the inside pressure. Not a good feeling.

Don't be ascared. lol  Look for a lot of designed roll outs to counter.

Anybody have some bold predictions?

That this is the first of a three-game winning streak (maybe more). Despite how the Jets match up vs our o-line, I'm really confident of us getting a win here for some reason. Call it an instinctive pick, I dunno.

For this game though, Torrey to pick up two TDs and the defence to get five sacks and at at least one turnover.

"We're in hell right now, gentlemen. Believe me. And, we can stay here, get the s**t kicked out of us or we can fight our way back. Into the light. We can climb out of hell."

RAVENS...LET'S FIGHT OUR WAY BACK INTO THE LIGHT!

Okay, so 506sports.com doesnt really tell me much here. Anyone know where/how I can see if the game is airing in OBX, NC? The place we're staying doesnt have a quide channel, so I cant even jump to 1:00 and see whats what. Need to know if I have to scramble and find a bar or if Im good here.

I'm really nervous about this one. Seems Jets will be loosey goosey and we'll be uptight. Geno is due for an up game too. Jets seem to match up well against us. Coaching staff must be unpredictable with play calling and schemes on both offense and defense. Players have got to come with more heart and intensity than they've shown all year. Lose this one, we're done, no playoffs. Play like champs today, Ravens!

Their map shows that you should be able to see the game on CBS, even though part of the state will get the Chargers-Chiefs game.

Okay...tough for me to see the map on my phone, as the OBX portion of NC (sliver on the right) I can't really tell if its in blue or red.

Doom and Suggs combined 6 sacks. 4 total turnovers including Elam, Webb and Jimmy with INT's. Brandon Williams with a FF. <<< never mind then

Bold enough for yees?

Contrary to popular opinion, I think we run 150y on these Jets and open stuff for Joe and wide outs.

INACTIVES: CB Asa Jackson, S Omar Brown, RB Bernard Scott, OL Ryan Jensen, WR Deonte Thompson, OLB John Simon & DT Brandon Williams

Stokley is active.  WHAT?!  Never though I'd see the day lol.

Is Williams still struggling with the injury or Tyson just outplaying him lately?

Tyson's just outplaying him.  I wouldn't worry about Williams though.  We have serious depth on the line right now.  He's just the odd man out.

sounds just like Deonte at WR. Seems to be the odd man out. Even though we've done a fairly good job of rotating WRs this year, he just seems to be the game who doesn't fit in right now. I would like to see him used more, but I do understand the numbers game.

That's it boys... keep underestimating our guys...  With Jimmy, Matt, Corey and Lardarius back there...  We are gonna get a pick or two.  They haven't even mentioned our secondary...  Rich just mentioned Dumer and Suggs.

It sounds like him and Stokley may rotate depending on the need for the week.  Apparently they wanted Stokley today because there will be a higher emphasis on the short passing game with the wind.  Makes sense.

Let's go Ravens!  Time to heat up a cold Bank.  Keep our fans happy and give us a win.  I hope the wind does not hurt JT's kicks.  He has been HOT!

Shud of taken Deonte over Stokely. Jets have been beaten consistently over top this year. Deonte gets over top, Stokely doesn't. Believe this is another example of the bad coaching we've had this year. I realize wind is a factor today, but for half the game the wind will be at our backs. Guess Harbs is thinking the wind will blow Stokely downfield and we'll take the top off wind aided! :)

To be fair why would they? Look at our record this season, our D hasn't been very good.

I have to disagree with you. Our D has been fairly well, but you need two sides of a football team. You can't have the whole team just depend on the defense. If the offense can't work, then we won't win and it's why we've lost all these close games.
