Soldier Reunites With Family In Ravens Huddle

9 posts in this topic

There was an amazing moment following today's practice that had everyone (including Ravens players) holding back the tears.

A father who just returned home from serving in the Army surprised his two sons in the middle of the team huddle. Get your tissues out...

That was a fantastic moment!  Wish stuff like this that our team does could be featured on NFL or ESPN.

I have seen a bunch of videos like this and I believe this may be the first NFL team to do something like this. I think, maybe some other team did it before but these are very cool and tearful videos to watch.

Watching this video really puts things into perspective of life outside of football. I hope everyone here takes John's advice at the end of the video to heart.

This was such a sweet gesture from the Ravens organization to this family! First class all the way! :) It made me cry seeing those sweet boys wrap their arms around their daddy. It also made me miss my own, and I completely took those words Harbaugh said to heart. Way to go, Ravens!

watched one the panthers did and the seahawks as well. I like how the ravens are constantly supporting our military and their families.

Cool video, only wish to see a soldier/airman/marine/squid returning from Afghanistan, Iraq, or Djibuti as opposed to a Lt. Col coming back from Honduras and not seeing any hardships when compared to the grunts returning from the sand box (and yes I was in military for a short while).

I do like the gesture the Ravens did though.
