Gotta love D-Mase. A great contrast from the typical Diva WR. There's a lot of them out there, that don't get the credit they deserve. Andre Johnson, Marvin Harrison, Anquan Boldin.

I also did not know that Mike Smith of the Falcons is a part of our coaching tree from our superbowl defense. Maybe I did, but just forgot. The Ravens have a crazy coaching tree going on.

Derrick Mason is the best...You can have all the T.O.'s and Ocho Cinco's of the world...I'll take Mase every time.

Also Mike Smith (Atlanta) Jack DelRio (Jags), Marvin Lewis (Bengals) [mentioned in the article] Mike Singletary (present 49'ers)...all active ex Ravens coaches who are HC's...not to mention Phil Savage who is GM in Cleveland...even though some are going through or have gone through (ie. Mike Nolan, 49ers) hard times. Shows the level of respect the Ravens organization/program has around the NFL. All are great ex Ravens coaches who have had varying levels of success as head coaches. Not every coordinator or coach translates well to the HC job, especially with lesser GM's and organizations, poor drafts, and failure to manage the salary cap well...but...they deserve the accolades given in the article,
That part was good, but how could King have NOT nominated Reed for DPOW.
I thought that was pretty weird as well.

He's such a great player. He's got class, he's humble, his work ethic is amazing, he's one of the BEST role models on the ravens, and too add to it.. he's one hell of a player. I hope he plays forever

Same here. At no point does he mention Ed Reed in the article.

I was going to post this earlier, but I decided to watch many a highlight from the game last night, so that I could get over the lack of Ed Reed in this article.

I'm sure you, like myself, hated him when he was on the Titans and we had to play them twice a year.

anyone see the graphic were he became only the second player to catch 500 pases and return 100 punts and kicks? that is a pretty cool, I wonder if its enogh to get him into the HOF.

It may be tougher due to a lack of rings (maybe we can change that.) Although there were a few seasons he had with the Titans where he led the league is overall yards.

He's right in that Mason signs every last autograph; Reed and Mason are by far the best towards the fans. Guys like Heap and Ray stick around as well, but they just get absolutely mobbed.
5. Baltimore (9-4). Six minutes into what we all thought would be a good game, everyone's reaching for their clickers. That was the varsity against the JV last night
I like this too. My neighbor ran into Derrick Mason in Best Buy and he was as nice as could be to her and her husband. Ed Reed is also very nice and polite out too.
