Week 12 Discussion( Other Games)

RGIII was the definition of suck today, and so far this year. Kaep is okay. But I was also addressing the "Kaep looked flawless" and "RGIII hampered by injury" ideas. You don't throw the ball terribly this year because of last year's knee injury.

While the "flawless" may have been an exaggeration and I don't think it's any question RG3 hasn't been hampered by severe injuries

Are you telling me he hasn't looked good in more games than not, throughout his career?

I'm talking about the here and now, this season. He hasn't impressed me at all.

Ladies & Gentleman, from the NFC Championship last year to being the first team ELIMINATED from playoff contention in 2013. The 49ers win tonight officially eliminated Atlanta's playoff hopes.

Is that the farthest any team has ever fallen from the previous season?

Has to be and here is something that I'm sure Falcons fans won't like to hear. If a lot goes right for the Jaguars and they win out, at 7-9 they can still get the 6th seed in the AFC. The Falcons have been eliminated while the Jaguars still have a chance to make the playoffs.

I don't remember specifics in terms of record, but I think I remember Oakland being about as pitiful the year after their most recent Superbowl appearance as the Falcons are this year.

If I am not mistaken were the Falcons and Texans tagged as possible Super Bowl opponents this year?

Things changed from last year to this regarding RGIII. One was his injury. Another was defenses figuring him out. The first exposes that he can't throw his way out of situations. The second makes it more obvious. What I'm saying is that he was overrated last year, so being healthy again wouldn't change that.

I honesty wouldn't be surprised if he returns to his usual form next year when he gets a full offseason and he builds chemistry with the team and learns more

Where's Kirk Cousins when you need him...

I'm not sure Kirk Cousins is as good as the media portrays him to be.  He's the backup for a reason, and he was drafted where he was for a reason.

Because the team and media are in bed with RG3, not necessarily because he'd be better for WAS.
