Ed Reed Question

15 posts in this topic

Oh Em Gee!

if he isn't a HOF in your book, than you must be sniffing some dipstick powder or something. anyways, there was a graphic tonight that listed all of Ed Reed's touchdown returns. I was wondering if anyone could provide me a screenshot of it?

would be so much appreciated. I am thinking of making some sort of wallpaper with it, for a moment I thought I was looking at Deion Sanders' accomplishments. Then I realized he was missing receiving TD's. Ed Reed at WR, FTW B)

I can't remember where I heard it, but someone said that Ed Reed is basically a wide receiver playing safety.

If it weren't such a big risk to lose him at safety we could seriously try him at Wr...
That would help bolster our Wr core....
But I dont think thye would risk an injury.

I remember reading an article earlier in the season that said Harbs was trying out defenders at WR in practice.

I'm sure this was probably just a "fun practice" -- Offense vs. Defense kind of thing, but dont know. I tihnk Reed would be a monster receiver, but its definitely not worth the risk IMO. I mean, the guy gets enough touchdowns on defense, lets not push him! :)

That pick he had on that first series was one of the sickest picks i've ever seen. How low can you go that was amazing. That game he had two weeks ago was it was liek the sickest game ever that 108 yard pick was amazing as well, how lucky are we to have him? WOW!

While that interception by Ed Reed was really nice, I'll have to go with Troy Palumalu's interception a few weeks ago on Sunday night as the best I've ever seen.

I don't think we should force him into positions that he's not used to. Look at what Chicago did with Devin Hester, they took him off kick returns because of his speed and put him at WR, now he's an OK receiver and not even a kick returner.

Just like with him returning a punt last year, I could see him at WR if the WRs were not playing to expectations but at this point I don't think he needs to play WR even if it is just one play in a game.

Ngata lined up as full back blocking, direct snap to troy smith, flip to mark clayton on the reverse, Ed Reed lined up as WR on a fly route. If that is not a TD i will give up on football.

LOL. .I'm just too lazy to update my Sig. I do like Boller but I also don't let him off the hook for sacking him self the year we went 13-3 and didn't give up a sack in 5 games until he tripped over his own feet
