I can't get my head around why any fan would want their team to lose (unless a suck for Luck situation arises) you only get to watch a minimum of 16 competitive games in a year. And you never know how many more years you'll around to see them. You should want to win every game!

The jets are real streaky. Let's hope the Geno that played yesterday shows up. The Ravens don't seem to understand they will get everyone's A game. So even a scrub team will play the game of their life against them.

i think that's what makes the losing so worse. We could easily have won every game except that broncos one, and even that we were in the driving seat until the refs called a catch on a drop and we didn't challenge

The fact is no matter how horrendous and I mean horrendous our team has been, we have not been blown out by any team except the Broncos. I think we win this by 14+.

so that means the Ravens would have to score either 14pts to the Jets 0pts.  Or 28pts to the Jets 14pts etc.  and the Ravens have "barely" gotten to 20 pts per game the entire season so far and they've reached above 20pts one time this season.  It was against the broncos and they scored 27 pts then I believe.  Rex will have his defense ready for Flacco.  so, good luck with that one brah!

really?  lol!  so that means that the Ravens would have to score either 14pts to the Jets 0pts.  Or 28pts to the Jets 14pts etc.  and the Ravens have "barely" gotten to 20 pts per game nearly the entire season.  I believe that they've scored 26pts against the Dolphins and 27 pts against the Broncos. 

 

now, based upon that, and by no means is what I'm about to say completely absolving our defense or condoning it's horrible and trashy gameplay at the end of games in the 4th quarter but from my perspective; I've seen nothing from this offense that says to me that they can score at will, take a lead and then just dominate by scoring and scoring and scoring more points!  I haven't seen that!  at all...whatsoever!  so, to say that these Ravens and this offense can jump up on the Jets...let alone any other team 14+ pts (even at M&T Bank Stadium) is stretching it quite a bit imo.  hopefully, they'll prove me wrong on Sunday!  we'll see won't we?

I dont think the jet's offense will be able to put up many points against our D. So hopefully we wont have to put 3 or 4 touchdowns up to win. Jet's D line is real good, so i think it will be a god test to see if our run game has actually improved or it was just the Bears ineptitude.

I think the key for our offence to pass to set up the run. I think they did that in Chicago better than they have all season. That last drive where we drove down the field in a few minutes was a good example: we spread them out with some nice passes for first downs, then we used Ray Rice to gash them up the middle. Aside from the execution of that last running play, it was probably one of our best drives of the season.

 

Defensively if we can stop the run and get after Geno I think we'll be fine.

I have a strong suspicion the Ravens will actually blow away one of these teams by 20+ points. It's not gonna happen this season, though. 

 

Anyway, it's tiring feeling let down and hopeful week after week this season, but I'm certainly going to continue being hopeful until the playoff doors are slammed shut. Does anyone NOT think the Bengals will probably lose a couple more games? We still have a four way foot race going on in this division and one of them (PIT vs CLE) is guaranteed to lose Sunday.
