Gino again proves to be a disappointment by a bad snap that, if it was good, would have won us the game. After he played well.

Doss had a REALLY bad drop on 3rd down after playing a good game

Judging by the last two, we will never play a full game

We won't make the playoffs 

 

But hey at least we could run today and we get a high draft pick! 

I gotta give Gino some credit this game.  He opened up a big hole Rice to get us to 1st and goal and I think earlier in the drive.  He played a pretty good game.

 

I also say shut Pitta down, unless he wants to see how the hip is.

It's hard to get a pass rush going with the field conditions.  They also let them hold a decent amount from what I saw.

I'd like to say farewell to the ravens and/or ravens fans after a long 17 1/2 seasons!  I just cannot take this anymore.  I have lived, breathed, and bled purple since the Ravens inception in 1996, but have finally reached my breaking point.  At this point, I feel bad for Flacco, Rice, Darryl Smith, Ladarius Webb, Leach, Pitta, Suggs, Dumerville, and Nagta.  As for ozzie newsome, John Harbaugh, and the rest.....  They're getting exactly what they deserve!  I mean what do you expect to happen when ozzie and harbaugh do the following:

 

1. Pay Flacco $100M, but then get rid of the only true receiver on the team (Boldin).

2. Week after week continue to play Cory Graham.

3. Hire Juan Castillo (who wasn't good enough to continue coaching for Philly) so he can destroy our once dominant O-line. Castillo succeeded in killing two birds with one stone... He succeeded in eliminating both our run & pass threats! Way to go juan!!!!

4. use Tandon Doss for a 3rd down receiver, when he wasn't good enough to make any other team.

5. And last but not least, when the Ravens organization ACCEPTS MONEY FROM THE CURRENT SOCIALIST OBAMA ADMINISTRATION, IN RETURN FOR PROMOTING THE DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA....OBAMACARE..

 

I'd like to conlcude by saying that I hope Steve Buschetti (spelling?) eventually comes to his senses and kicks ozzie to the curb.......   Until then.... I wish the ravens nothing more than last place for as many consecutive seasons as it takes to fire ozzie newsome! (And by the way, he's been taking credit for building the ravens franchise, which he did not do...Phil Savage deserves all of that credit)

Also... some may say it was Joe's fault we lost but Dean Pees' play calling allowing the Bears to drive down the field killed us more than anything. 

I disagree! That was a very wet and slippery field today. The team had a chance to end the game in regulation but as has happened more times than not, they failed.

They always play on that bad turf but some of our guys just flat out got beat.  In fact, on the 4th down I think Flacco had just finished his drop back and was stripped and another play he was just sacked, or maybe stripped too.  Both I think came from the left side.  One Monroe blocked inside and I think the guy got a free release.

You can't just quit being a fan because the team is having a bad season. Being a true fan means being there supporting your team no matter how they're doing. I mean look at loyal Jaguar and Buccaneer fans... It sucks when you lose but you're overreacting. Anyways, good luck finding a perfect team in the league.

I agree. We really need to mix some things up. If we can get creative we can really get some things moving. Wr have to try some new things, I mean what's the worst thing that could happen? Being predictable is a bad habit for our offense.

If you're going to be so critical of one play, why not the one that cost points, ala the brilliant pick 6?  I'm not saying he played like an All-Pro, but there was improvement.  Those 2 picks Joey Turnover threw sure didn't help the team out...

He's made some nice sacks and taken a bit of pressure off Suggs. I've actually seen him make some nice plays in coverage too. Yeah those silly penalties make you want to tear your hair out, but he isn't some money sink.
