I'm really beginning to think it's impossible for us to get over 20 points

Because we  have 0 offensive playmakers aside from Torrey Smith and Ray Rice...its hard to generate points with mediocre talent.

This team infuriates me.

Nothing is consistent. NOTHING.

Harbs has dropped a notch in my book with some of the calls he's made this year.

I highlighted todays game as a must win ...we loss.

Were done imo.

Ok, we are already struggling on offense this year and it's understandable seeing what Flacco has to work with but for the life of us, we don't need another negative ( AKA Coaching ) contributing to the negatives that we have already. Some time the best play is not making a play and just punting the ball and I have seen this happen twice this season and they always seemed to happen right before halftime. Instead of just doing a draw and taking it into the half or getting stuffed, making the opposition take a timeout and punting it, we try to go for it on both occasions (two different occasions of course ) and the opposition have got 3 out of it before going into the half which the 3 ends up coming back to bite us in the rear at the end. C'mon coach, stop contributing to this already miserable season, 2 wins that I know of that we should have instead of losses ( GB and Bears and I see a few other games where this same thing possibly happened, IDK)

Everyone made mistakes.  Some terrible calls by the refs here and there.  I don't know how these players restrain themselves from not even shouting at refs.  I would be all on them for making such dumb calls.

Point taken, but if you watch Sound FX it seems like they really don't. :p

Okay, full analysis time by position:

Joe Flacco needs to make better decisions.  It wasn't a bad game from him, but that interception into triple coverage can't happen.

Ray Rice did very well today.  Pierce was alright.  The stretch runs aren't working, though.

No real complaints at WR.  Doss didn't have the best day.

Clark played very well.  Dickson still looks lost at time.

Much improved on the OL.  Monroe had a bit of a rough day against an incredibly gifted pass rusher.  They were adequate at least this week.

No real complaints on the DL.  They were average.

Dumervil needs to stop making stupid penalties.  Suggs was a bit of a non factor.  Upshaw played very well but gets no credit.

Daryl Smith is still good.  McClain is a liability against the pass.  Bynes was alright.  As I said earlier, Brown blew that coverage on 3rd down in OT, but he's a rookie.

Jimmy and Webb played very well once again.  Graham was pretty good as well.  A couple of untimely mistakes, but that's about it.

Elam needs to wrap up when he tackles.  He makes good decisions, but whiffs quite a bit.  Ihedigbo was alright today.

Koch deserves a medal for getting the XP snap down.  Tucker's still clutch.

It wasn't a bad game.  A few mistakes here and there.  We should have come out with the W, but hey, that's the NFL.

I'm glad everyone is so excited about a mid round draft pick...but lets be honest with the amount of holes on this team, plus the contracts plus the picks we gave up for Monroe....I don't see much help coming by way of draft.

The offense really missed Marlon Brown, out there, today. He would have made those catches across the middle.

At least Brown has been a positive note in a season of so many disappointments. Look, what I'm saying is that even if the Ravens still had Anquan Boldin, the team may or may not be "better". But, no matter what, Boldin probably would have left during next off-season, anyways, since he could be asking for more than what Ozzie Newsome was willing to pay.

So, as a result, finding-and-developing Marlon Brown has been a positive to this 2013 campaign. That way, Flacco and him can do damage in 2014, from the start of the season.

I didn't understand the draw, playing conservative on second, then going for it on third. Either go for it both downs, or not at all.

Doss was Lee Evans today, and we really need Pitta back. Please come back next week against the Jets Pitta.

Also... some may say it was Joe's fault we lost but Dean Pees' play calling allowing the Bears to drive down the field killed us more than anything.

Not blaming the weather.  Inclement coaching and execution.  Took 11 weeks for the run game to show up.  They'll probably look unstoppable week 16.  *eye roll*

Not being able to score TDs in the redzone is killing us. We have left so many points on the field not being able to score within the 5. :34853_shakehead:

Yeah.  Bad clock management is bad.

Harbaugh shouldn't have challenged. They would've had an extra time out for one more run up the middle, I think they would've got it. Oh well.

Not just a run, but it would've opened up the entire playbook.... That was a horrific challenge. Virtually no chance it was not a catch, and zero chance to get the ball on the turnover since the Bears clearly recovered. Also with the game being so tight and the weather being so bad, every wannabe prognosticator knew that was going to come back and bite the Ravens. People try to make excuses for Harbaugh by saying all HC's make these kind of mistakes, but Harbaugh is just plain bad with challenges. Whoever is in the booth telling him to throw these flags needs to get canned.

Hard not to disagree.  It was interesting seeing Trestman run the ball the entire 3rd quarter when he was against the win and Pees not being able to figure it out, keeping the game close before he had the wind in the 4th quarter.  While we let Joe throw the ball all of 3 times when he had the wind at his back in the 3rd and then forced him to go into the wind in the 4th to try to tie/win the game.

Good coaching vs bad coaching, elementary right there.

4-6.

4-6 in a 5 way tie with the Raiders, Steelers, Titans and Browns. Soon to be 6 way with whoever loses between Miami/San Diego.

Juan Castillo is still what's messing us up big time.

Coaches' playcalling have been very questionable as of late.

Overall disappointed, but all's not lost. I'll gladly take this season as a loss as a means to recollect ourselves for next season.

Our team is just not the same as last year's Super Bowl team in terms of play. This is Harbaugh's worst year of his regime. We have more problems than positives, and it is more reminiscent of Billick's group before he was justifiably replaced.

Ozzie and supporting staff have to come up with more blue-chip players in the drafts that lie ahead. Amazingly, even Flacco looks more affected than I thought he would with the loss of Pitta and even Boldin. IMO, were are going to see another RB on our team within the next two seasons with fresh legs and durability.

The brutality of the game continually affects all the game's players, so I cannot attribute all our ills to our injuries.

A very bad game manager couldve done a better job than Flacco.

Time and time again, he showed he cant do jack squat against a depleted defense. He costed us this game. This game wasn't as bad as his 5INT bills game (which had zero starting secondaries).

Ravens FO needs to figure out how to shave Flacco salaries in a year or two. B/C this dud isnt anywhere near his 120m contract.

Well...its too late now..we have no flexibility for free agents. ozzie has to have his best draft in years and be creative in the free market if we really want to be relevent in the next 2-3 years.

This team is so depressing.  Worst coaching staff in the nfl.  Dropped passes.  Don't worry though, the run game showed up!...against one of the worst run defenses in the league.  Good work guys...

Clearly the key to the game was our final Regulation possession where we had to settle for a field goal.

I'm so emotionally fatigued and exhausted, gonna have to be careful with how this is stated. But here it goes....

Cleats played pretty well as a run stopper. He hesitated on the Bears big pass play though in rushing the QB.....Footing was treacherous though.

But in the end Ozzie Newsome is responsible. Next time you see him, look closely at his hands and wrists and the whites of his eyes.  Do you see it?

Yeah his worst year is his FIRST losing season in 6 seasons. What's hurt us more than anything...... Harbaugh hiring his friends. Fire Castillo like we did Cam and fire Pees as well.

how did we not get a TD at the end of the 4th, Harbs left that clock go too much

could have used a t.o. with 40 seconds left instead of letting the clock go down and dont forget that stupid challenge

Yeah i definitely agree. It's amazing that we kept playing around with different zones and playing off the WR's. Man to man was working for us well, and we just stopped using it.

No, what's hurt the team more than anything has been players failing to execute for varying reasons.

The Bears scored 10 points from turnovers the offense gave to them and then the Ravens offense was unable to score a TD from inside the five with less than a minute to go.

There were some good plays but against a weakened Bears defense, they still could not get it done. Besides, once there was the weather interruption to the game I thought "oh no here we go again."
