Week 11 - Baltimore Ravens at Chicago Bears

flacco has been awful this year. Lets just keep that real. aside from the denver game all he has to do is put a low 20;s score on the board. He's never going to be consistant. He's grossly overpaid and I would not be unhappy if we traded him. He got lucky in the playoffs last year. That isnt Flacco. Flacco is the guy that has infuriated us for years. Sure he isnt Boller but he isnt good enough to take a team that is lacking in some areas to the promise land again.

We were lacking defensively last year.... Guess that shits all over that theory....

Some of you just can't accept the fact that its impossible to be good every year..

The 4 years tops you've been a fan you've been spoiled

Some of you can't accept the fact that Flacco is not God Almighty himself.

I think Flacco is good for at least one Pick 6 and a sack fumble per game.....hes having a horrible season

So is Webb. He cant cover anyone.

Giving fair judgement to the Ravens when they deserve it isnt acting like a fool. its the mods being overly sensitive to the truth. Last year I was banned for saying Ray was being exposed over the middle...turns out I wasnt wrong. This year I am saying Ravens need to develop a better blocking scheme and play with some heart...which again I am not wrong.

Ray had been getting exposed over the middle for the past 3-4 years...
Not what you say it's how you say it

BTW I have been an avid defender of Flacco, but I cannot defend him when he is averaging as many picks per game as TDs...that isnt elite..that isnt even above average. That is mediocre game managing....He has the talent. Also what happened to Marlon Brown? Is he hurt? Because he is a better 2nd receiver than Jacoby..

He definitely didn't defend it correctly but you should be able to get safety help overthr middle of the field 25 yards from the los

TE's generally aren't 30yards down the field on the sideline. The corner most of the time should erase TEs.

ive been a fan since the boller days, that's why out of all the players I call out, flacco is normally the last one to catch blame, because I know that all the talent in the world means nothing with a horrible qb, and you can have a horrible offense, but with a good qb, you still have a chance to win.

what frustrates me the most is the fact that we cant have our 2000-2006 defense with our current offensive weapons and our 2003 o-line.. if we could just mix and match era's, ugh... I was so used to waching our defense dominate for 4 quarters, now when we have a chance to win a close one, our defense blows it every single time.

The moment you say anything that actually is a positive addition to the thread I'll respond as such..

Yea flacco made some bad plays. It doesn't take a genius to see that.. He is most definitely not the main source of the problem as you love to claim

The mods here strictly enforce the rules. Regardless of how idiotic they may be.

Baltimore is now in a 3-way tie for 2nd place in the AFC North at 4-6.

Good effort at trying to make the best of a sad situation.

H8R...  That was exactly my point...  Webby didn't go up for the ball to even try to break it up or catch it...  You're saying exactly what I did...  Be nice...  Have fun out here.

Hmm lets see, Flacco has the WORST RUN GAME IN NFL HISTORY, NO TE's, AND HAS BEEN SACKED 40 times IN 10 games. Yeah I bet Peyton Manning can win a SB with that. Oh wait, nobody can win with that. Sure he didn't play great, but he played good enough to win.

He's not that at all. He has about the least to work with this year then he's ever had and then, until now ... the run game and Oline has been horrible. He didn't have a great game today , no doubt... but he has a minimal supporting cast overall. Mos have more then him.

Doss blows . Cut him. All he does is drop balls and fumble. He is such a joke. There is a reason no one else would sign him.

Can't use the run game as an excuse, it did well today.

Flacco was terrible today and the main reason we lost. It's okay to admit it.

To be honest, in terms of making the playoffs we're not in much worse of a situation. Titans, Browns, Jets all lost, and one of the Chargers and Dolphins will lose. The division is Cincy's though.

People want to talk about how well Gino played, okay maybe..but were you watching when he sent that grounder to Flacco on third and goal? A good snap wins us the game there.. Torrey was wide open. He and Elam severely hurt our chances at the end, i mean you think Elam would know the system by now and not blow coverage's. Left his man completely wide open on third dow in overtime. Ravens just cant get it down this year. Bad coaching and even worse execution.

O and as much as i'm a big Flacco fan and defender because people just love to blame him when it's not his fault. Today he played like he had his head up his @$$. How about trying to look to the other side of the field? too many times he had open WR but was locked on one side of the field. And the pick 6...wow. He's got crazy talent but seriously needs to improve his progressions.

He might not be the main source, but he is supposed to be the main solution. With the amount of money paid to him, HE is supposed to win games. He hasn't. He has let 2 back ups, and a rookie outperform him both home and away with LESS talent surrounding them than Him.

I agree with all of this. And I do think there are problems all over the place, as I have said often. But what I'm getting tired of is the ironic "Did Flacco make that mistake too??? LOL!!! LOL!!!" that's just as annoying as placing the blame solely on his shoulders.
