Yeah - but the defender didn't look back at the ball and basically pushed Gronk to the back of the end zone.

 

W/out the defender there, Gronk could have possibly made an adjustment to attempt to catch the ball.  Would never happened -but if there's a possibility, they the flag should stand.

Pretty much this. He was held, but the ball was caught so far under him that he had no chance of catching it anyway.

I'm officially on the Carolina bandwagon for the NFC.  Along with Flacco and Luck, Cam Newton is in my top 3 favorite QBs in the league.
