It was a win, not a very convincing win with the offenses inability to effectively move the ball and score in the second half when your defense was able to shut down the opposing offense. But nevertheless it was still a win.

Will they be able to do it next week, i don't know but I'll be watching and cheering them on!!

1 down, 7 more to go!!!

LEGGGGOOOO RAVENS!!!

Our defense is playing great but there on the field to much cause of our offense if our offense can catch fire we can go on another superbowl run... And when is pitta coming back????!!!?

While my heart says that we can do it, my brain says "are you kidding?" With the kind of anemic offense we have, we really have no shot. Flacco is having a terrible season. They need to keep Rice on the sidelines. Also, Doss needs more playing time than Jacoby. What's up with Stokely? When is he going to see action? We could definitely use him.

Fixing the run game is the first step. If we are able to run the ball, the passing game will open up. If both goes well, then we can talk about playoffs.

We have problems that can derail any thoughts of going to the playoff, however the most vexing one is the O-line. All the experts say that scheme is the root of the problem. Good center or not, good running back or not, good QB or not. Until the O-line is fixed, it's only a matter of time before we're out of it.

Without the fear of a well set up screen pass, play action off a threatening run game the Ravens cannot turn anything around this year. Our recievers except for Torrey are not fear inspiring,no one seems to get open even when Joe gets some time to set up and throw. Our zone blocking schemes are not working,we need to get back to smash mouth non-stretch finese blocks and ram Ray&Bernard down the Bears(good run defense, not great)throats. McKown at home ain't Andy Dalton in the wind. I hope we don't get drubbed by yet another back up QB before we turn the coner and scrap the Jaun Castillo concepts allowing Jim Caldwell to run this offense.

The Offense will continue to struggle unless the O-line steps up or the scheme is changed. You can't run the ball or give Joe time to throw if the O-line is not playing well.

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only difference between yesterday and every other loss was we managed to pull out a victory after going an entire scoreless, almost 1st Downless Half, and a stupid play by a defense that played flawlessly, and as is typical this year, without any help from the Offense!

Too subtle?

The Ravens knows their back's against the wall,It's really up to them as to where they going,if they hungry enough then we should be Okie Dokie providing we don't lose anymore game this season,It'll all come down as to HOW BAD WE WANT TO WIN, 1 more loss and that will be all she wrote

until we turn the OL around we cant expect much else to turn around! THe fact is: in a game that we dominated we coul finish bc we are 1 dimensional!

We (like in the 4 of the 5 games we lost and in 3 of the 4 games we won) played in a very closely contested match up that could have gone either way. Right now.... chance / mistakes are deciding our games more then talent.

With the talent we have that is hard to take... but until we get the OL fixed we will remain predictable and all of our games will continue to come down to chance and mistakes...

We will contiue to say we were lucky *(or unlucky) after each game... but we dug too much of a hole to depend on luck. Time to put ourselves in a position to allow our talent to win games (thats why you pay people)... our OL hasnt given us the chance to do that to this point. Until it does I am very hesitant to talk about turning the season around (just wishful thinking)!

The journey of 100 miles begins with one step. Hopefully yesterday will be a step towards the playoffs. If we get into the dance its anyones game. There is no team I am scared of and I dearly want a chance at Denver again.

The next 4 games for us are very favorable compared to Cinci, but there just isn't any reason to think the offense can put a full game together.

There were glimpses yesterday very early but it couldn't be sustained because WE CANNOT RUN THE BALL.

The Bungoles (All of a sudden) have lost two in a row and no longer look to have the same commanding lead on the division that they once had. And their schedule is not an easy one from here forward!

Ravens.... we have put ourselves back in the talk and ou schedule is advantagous....but until we get the OL fixed....im just not sure of our chances to stay consistent enough to close the gap! IF we can fix it... we have a shot

Browns... They really are better then the typical Browns but I dont believe they have the running game / or the QB to sustain a consistent enough run to really be a contender. They will fade as they always do but they are stocking up talent there and could be a challenge in the future.

The Sqeelers... seem to have found a running game and as a result are back in this- but that OL is truly so beat up that they cant expect any offensive cnsistency and they still have a rough schedule.... (of course even with 3rd stringers on the OL- it seems to be out playing ours)

I expect that the Bungoles with their schedule will continue to falter
We (if we can fix the OL a little) can make a legit run with our talent and schedule
the Sqeelers will finish ahead of the browns but still a distance behind cincy and us
and the Browns wil continue to improve but look to build for next season!

We can only go as far as our defense can take us. If they play every game as well as they did on Sun, we have a chance to make the playoffs. Unlikely to make it very far though unless changes are made to the offensive scheme- it's excruciating to watch. How much tape do the coaches need to see before they come to same conclusion that the fan base and every opposing defensive coordinator already realizes: our blocking scheme is a sieve- porous to the run and vulnerable to the blitz in passing situations. I'm apoplectic at this point that major schematic adjustments to the offense have not been made; spreading out the defense with 3 wide receive sets is simply not enough.

Joe Flacco got sacked 5 times again,he got strip sacked once, intercepted once on a grabbed arm and ran out of the pocket(heh-HEH) numerous times. He made a couple of nice throws while running for his life and numerous hurried bad ones that were almost intercepted. This is the same Joe Flacco who led us through the playoffs and won MVP in the Super Bowl. Flacco,Leach,Rice&Pierce are not the problems it's Juan Castillo's scheme that these 0-linemen are not suited to run. Go back before it's too late. John,Ozzie Juan has to go!

This off-season Ozzie needs to clean house with the coaching staff: OC, DC, ST, etc. Too many mediocre sameo-sameo game plans.

Our brand of offense won't get it done, not against the likes of the Broncos, who score like 3 out of every 4 possessions....9 games into the season, and the offense has not shown any real progress from the first week....

the Bungoels remaining schedule:

vs Browns (A rivalry game)

@ SD.... traveling across country is always tough and the heat wont help (but they are coming off of a bye week)

vs Colts... the Colts have beaten the Seahawks, 49ers, and the Broncos already this season but then got spanked by the Rams??? but should be a tough game!

@ Pittsburgh... rivalry game and in Pitt...not an easy place to play
hope they are physsically beat up from that game!

v the Vikings.... lets just hope Peterson runs wild vs them but should be a win for them

vs Ravens.... Hopefully we have our OL fixed by then and this one is for the division title!

Has anyone mentioned DeAngelo Tyson getting his first sack ever? He's a second-year DE out of Georgia and I have been wondering for a few weeks if we'd ever see him do anything.

It would be great to turn around the season, but im still seeing way to many flaws right now with the offense.. I mean don't get me wrong I love that we got the W but those TDs we scored were partially do to long penalties or mistakes by the Bengals.. This offense has GOT to get better

The RB's have such a delay waiting for the zone blocking to develop that they get stuffed at the line every time! Not rocket science. End the zone blocking and power run that pigskin.
The Ravens way!

@axisofeeble That "strip sack" of Joe was on him. Yes, the line is pretty bad, but KNOWING that, he still just stands there, waiting for someone to get open. The picks he threw were on him as well, especially the one where he just tossed the ball up for grabs for no good reason while getting sacked. All he had to do was go down, and we were in doable FG range. Those 3 extra points could have kept us from that OT nonsense in the first place. No one can get mad at our D, they are the reason we've even been in games at all this season. It's not Flacco's fault that the oline sucks or that the run game is nonexistent. But he is supposed to be "elite", he is supposed to have the ability to audible at will and doesn't, and he isn't taking good care of the football this season at all. At this point, he's going to wind up with 20 INTs for certain.

And with that, even if our D maintains a high level of play and continues averaging 3 sacks per game, I just don't know that I see us winning the 6-7 games we've got left, to even get into the playoffs, let alone get anywhere in them. Mind you, we backed into the playoffs when we really didn't belong there in 2009, with a better o-line, and an offense that while not great, was much more proficient than this. This 2013 team is not as good as that 2009 one. The pass rush on defense is better, the kicker is much better, but that's about it.
