Parking and construction question for the Jets game

10 posts in this topic

Heading down from Hanover to watch the Jets game on the 24th and I usually park at the Staples lot across from the stadium on Russell St. I noticed or heard there is construction on Russell St on the southern end.

My route takes me (leave Hanover 7-7:30, get to baltimore a  hour later)

-695W (towards Glenn Burnie)

   -95N

    -exit 52 onto Russell St

     -parking lot on left

My question: is the construction on Russell St passable at that time?

Is my route still good to go?

No lot per say.. Just across the street from M&T Stadium on Russell St where

Staples and a Over Head Door Company are. I don't think Staples is there anymore but I have tailgated there the last 5 years at least once per season.

Corner of W Hamberg St and Russell St in Google maps

I'm just trying to figure out if construction will be a issue as there was a warning on this site last week

You should be good getting to your lot. The closed streets are on the right (north bound). Leaving after the game might be ugly. Check the information on the main site.

You say streets are closed north bound on Russell St?

From my original post I was coming up Russell St (north bound) so do you recommend not coming that way at all or is there a detour there?

My other option is coming downtown via 83 south, Right onto Lombard then left on South Green that turns into  Russel St(southbound)

Thought on that way?
