The official ______sucks, cut_____ melt thread - vs. Bengals

Lets just tank the season. We need draft position to replace these scrubs. Being middle of the road is a pathetic trap.

Also Juan Castillo should have been fired weeks ago.

We won, by the way.

Just because we won doesn't mean we should forgive and forget everything that happened today. We need a melt thread despite.

I dont complain about officials often and this season is a result of nothing but our own fault however that was easily one of the worst 2-3 called games i've ever watched.

Not a great game, but we got the win. Something does have to give with Ray Rice though. He's doing nothing in open space in the rare times he finds it.

Oline still sucks!

However, the scheme looks much more like what we saw last season. It looks like we're going back to Moeller's scheme.

We won't win a lot of upcoming games if we can't average more than 2 yards/carry. There was also a lot of unblocked pressure up the middle today. I'm thinking AQ Shipley/Jah Reid had the worst games of our players today.

The defense played beyond reproach and I'm really impressed by Pees' playcalling. Now if only the offense would step up. Use Pierce more, he averaged 3.9 YPC compared to Rice's 1.7.

The game would have been a lot closer without the missed field goal, PI and Ihedigho's INT early in the game, which put us in great field postion for the TD.

I do not think we played so bad. The defense showed up today. There was a lot of pressure & hits on the QB, and 4 sacks I believe. The cornerbacks looked great. A few slip ups, but we got 3 interceptions as well. I think the defense got tired and just gave up toward the end. They're on the field for too long. The offense is not doing enough. Flacco is not getting to his recievers and sometimes the receivers are not getting open for Flacco. The offense is the number 1 concern right now. If the offensive line doesnt work, then nothing else will. We've got a lot of things to fix before we go against the Bears next week. If the defense plays like it did in the beginning and if the offense gets things to work, we will be able to win games without problem. There is too much talent going to waste on this team...

Ihedigbo is a lucky man

He redeemed himself in overtime; so, there's that.

Obviously, the o-line is still a mess. Juan Castillo has got to go, immediately! But, other than that, it might just be a good idea to activate Bernard Scott and Bernard Pierce should be the primary 'back. Because, Ray Rice can't be depended on too much, at this point.

Week in, week out, our offense is horrendous.

Every week we sit here and say "This will be the week they turn it around."  So far, almost every single week we have been wrong.  Our offense is not improving in any way.

But we won.  By the skin on our teeth.

we could very well go offense with our 3 picks in the draft. I kinda want to lose so we can secure a top-tier pick to really improve this team. at this point, we are stuck in purgatory.

Lots of compensatory picks coming our way!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we seem to do ok in the redzone. We just can't move the chains to get there without penalties.
