Next up: The Chicago Bears

165 posts in this topic

Bears have given up the 2nd most rushing yards and 9th most passing yards in the NFL. Bears played decent D vs. the Packers decimented offense but this past week didn't register a single sack or QB hit against the Lions and allowed Reggie Bush to avg 7.5 yards/carry. Bears D is nothing to write home about and arguably pretty weak. Granted, this will be an away game for the Ravens, which usually supports the D except that the Bears have not really had a great defensive home performance (they've given up at least 21 pts in each home game).

Our D, arguably played its best game last week (minus the hail mary BS). Our secondary looks like it could be elite and our pass rush is coming in nicely. I think if the Ravens can score more than 21 pts, we can leave with a W.

Our offense has no excuse then. We must run the ball and do some play action.

I'd rather have had a beat up Cutler than a healthy McCown. So long as we don't lose contain, we should do well...

Go Ravens this week. Help us out by beating the Bears! Not that it matters for us if we lose again this week to the Giants. You Baltimore fans were super cool to talk to in week 6. Thought I would stop by again and say hi.

No Urlacher, no Tillman and an injured Briggs. This is not the Bears team your daddy rooted against. It should be a piece of cake for us to sneak out of Chickago (sic) with a V. Da Bears yield more run yardage (>120 yards per game) than any team but Jacksonville. Josh McKown will be no match for a mighty Constable of Ravens! Stop Forte, Hester and Marshall. Hey diddle, diddle! Pierce up the middle!! There's the game plan! Any questions, ladies and gents? Things are starting to break our way after a shaky start. Analyzing the rest of our schedule, we wind up at 8-8 w/o a win over Bears. A win in Chicago will get us to 9-7 and a playoff spot with the tiebreakers. Had we taken care of business against the Pack like we should have in week 6, I wouldn't have been concerned about da bears. I do like their new coach though.

We have already proven any Dline in the NFL can outplay our Oline until proven otherwise. It will be another close game as always but I think we get it by 3.

What's up packfan? Nice to talk to you. The Packers are one of the few teams whose fans I respect. Hopefully we can get this win and hopefully Aaron Rodgers comes back soon and healthy. Like Stephen A. Smith would say, "Aaron Rodgers is a BBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDD man!"

Fearlessly every game. “The greatest opportunity in the world is found here today…We already know what yesterday has got for us.  It’s already gone.  Tomorrow, too far away.  What about right now!” - Ray Lewis

Dude, I reckon we won this week because you added the dead Bengal to that picture. You should totally re-do it, but with a bear.

Can somebody tell me how Chicago's offensive line is? I want to know how our phenomenal pass rush will do against the Bears.

Given Cutler's injuries this year, I'd imagine he's getting beat up pretty good...

Their OL is much better than in the past, only giving up 14 sacks all season.

I'd rather have McCown over Cutler. Cutler is shaky and would likely give you a pick or you, but with the wind in Chicago expected to be gusty, Cutler's strong arm would have been a lot more dangerous then McCown's imo.

If the wind indeed is a factor, it might just limit the passing attack of the Bears and force them into a dink and dunk style offense which suits our defense. So if we can stop their run game and force them to throw the ball more, 40+ times for McCown would be great, I really like our chances.

This year hasn't been that bad.  But his body is wrecked from the assault he's taken over the past several seasons.

ok guys!  on Sunday; I want to see you all start fast, be intense, confident and fearless in your gameplay!  I need you to make plays when called upon, score and score some more and stop them from scoring!  In other words; just win the game baby!

Go Ravens....beat the bears!

I hope that we will be able to develop some offensive rhythm Sunday, but I am afraid that will be due in large part to the success of our running attack. If Rice has little or no burst, I would like to see more of Pierce.

Likelihood we continue our multi-sack streak?

I think we will keep it going, but I wouldnt expect another 5 sack performance. 2-3 is more likely.

If our pass rush gets to McCown we can force their offense to feed Forte, who we can stop with our loaded D-Line.

Offense just needs to be good enough to score once a quarter.

It took them really long to get that fixed. I hope our guys up front can bounce back faster.

You mean it's possible to score over 20 points in one game?

more than that, i believe we'll win it 30-20... just don't quote me on this lol

ravens 26-16

You're really starting to grow on me! lol

I see an emotional spark from last week's win carrying over. Not enough for us to dominate, but enough for us to take this road win.

24-23 Ravens

Well I just see ravens being good enough to win every game up until the last 3 against detroit away, cincy away and new england, then it's all toss up. Also I think the bears are pretty meh anyways

I feel if we can get passed this game and the STEALERS , we could go on a serious run.

This team ( RAVENS) is a jig saw puzzle and its only missing one or two pieces.

If we win the next 2, the motivational momentum alone that this team will have. No one will beat us.

Gotta stay positive and just keep winning.

FLACCO is playing his A. off.  The Cleveland game , he didnt play too well but aside from that, he is BALLING.

I dont see it that way.  Dude was running around for his life and keeping plays alive.

That T.D. pass to Clark was magic. It was Dart.
