Next up: The Chicago Bears

I wish I could watch this game but unfortunately, this was the last game I'll see this season unless we go to the Super Bowl or something.

I feel like this is going to be a very tough game for us. I didn't like it early in the year because this team matches up well against us and their OL has improved. Forte might be a tough back for us to bring down. We need to have our A-game and I honestly think this is a game I wouldn't use a lot of Arthur Brown--I know, shocker. McClain, Bynes & Smith need a heavy amount of snaps. These guys have their work cut out for them.

I think the Ravens can win this game, but Flacco must play well. This is a game Flacco can't play ugly and win. He's got to get his head straight. We can beat them. This will be a great test for Smith, Webb & the third CB, because Jeffrey (whom I loved in the draft) & Marshall have formed a very deadly duo.

Yes ,this is why it it so difficult for us to win games. Pierce needs to start ,Rice ( a finger will bring me down) needs to be benched . And we need to see that kid we picked up from Cincy I think I was .

i agree, coaches needs to stop with playing favorites, and go with best players that will give us a chance to win, RR is not the same , so give the other a guys a chance.

Thank goodness Henry Melton, DJ Williams and Lance Briggs are all out injured. The thought of our offensive line going up against the Bears first choice front 7 is none too appealing.

I can't see us winning this game but I thought that about the Bengals game and we managed to win. It's so different to last year where I always felt we could/would win whoever we were playing. I miss that feeling.

On the road against a very tough D.....Who knows? Logic says we'll get our butt kicked. Ravens are weird though so we might just leave with a W.

Flacco had a huge game against Chicago in 2009/10 I believe. Even though he's only faced them once, maybe this is the team he goes off on?

this is 2013 though.  that was 3-4 years ago removed!  imo, there's no way I would even attempt to use that as a gauge for this game.  lol!

"Peanut" Tillman on Torrey Smith will be the matchup to watch. If Torrey can win that battle, I think we win the game.

i think Jimmy on Marshall is up there too; Dline needs to keep Forte in check is another

using Doss and Thompson more, will take the FS help that Tillman would get, making Torrey's job a lot easier

nah lol, was more to say that our only road win came over a team that i see pretty close to the one we play next

denver is up there, bills are so up and down like a yoyo, pitts and browns are divisional rivals; but dolphins are a middle of the road team with good running game, deep threat WRs, a decent QB and quite well mantained defense... just like the Bears present

This week wasn't reassuring at all, to be honest. I mean, it gives us momentum, but it was also in Baltimore, where we generally play pretty well. Seems like the only time we can get anything done outside of Baltimore is during the playoffs.

Yes it's a reach but sometimes players have a lot of success against certains teams for no real reason.

I feel this one in CHI is the only remaining road game that they have a chance of winning...DET has the potential to light up that secondary and CINCY will want payback and will have a lot on the line as far as seeding goes.

No Charles Tillman and most likely no Jay Cutler (just announced high ankle sprain).

Yet, NFL journeyman, McCown, has played well in relief and Bears badly need this win to remain relevant in a tight NFC playoff race.

This is a good offense we're going to face. Star RB with above average recieving core. Yet, their D is pretty weak. This is definitely a winnable game if we can play D like we did against the Bungles AND if we improve our running production, even if only marginally.

both teams need a win.

as always, it depends which Ravens show up. This year, it is anybody's guess - the just are not playing well.

Last year, we always pulled it out with a clutch pass or run.

This year, not so much.

Bears are kinda the same.

Go Ravens!!!

Chicago has a good defense. This should be a fun game though.

Okay so don't get to see Chicago too often. Which is it guys? Good D or Bad D? lol

Honestly I'd rather we faced Cutler than McCown. Cutler can easily be rattled with pressure. Not sure about McCown. Pass rush will be key IMO.

Didn't read the entire thread but from the little I did read everyone is concerned about Cutler. Ravens are not unfamiliar with playing great Qb's (Peyton, Arod, maybe even consider Dalton) this should not be our concern. We need to worry about the forte/marshall matchups. Also, we need to run well against the bears as Reggie Bush was capable of last week.

Good D when healthy, average D when not healthy (as they are now).

A win here could be huge with 3 winnable home games in a row afterwards in the Jets, Steelers and Vikings. Win those and we'd be 8-5 and suddenly looking likely for playoffs! Maybe wishful thinking but...

Ravens should definitely win this game if we play good defense.

This bears team is not the same as previous years, their D is terrible giving up about 27 points per game.

If our offense cannot put points up against them, our season is pretty much a wrap.

I won't lie, this game is gonna be tough for me to watch. Not because I don't think we'll win, but because of the opposite side of the ball are two guys that I've gone to bat for over the years to be apart of this team.

I've had some really good debate with some of you guys about how Alshon Jeffery would be a stud and was worthy of a 1st round pick(was wrong on this). I wanted to draft this guy so bad last year and when the Bears selected him I had a nasty feeling in the pit of my stomach. The only good thing is that he wasn't in the AFC. I though this guy paired with Torrey would have been as good a 1 2 punch as their is in the NFL. He isn't exactly lighting it up, but he's playing well and I feel would have been even better on this team.

B Marshall is just a beast and at the time the Ravens were rumored to get him was immature, but definitely a great talent. Both these guys will provide a challenge for our secondary but if Webb builds on his performance Sunday and Jimmy continues playing well I like our chances. The key will be putting pressure on McCown. The Bears oline has allowed the 3rd fewest sacks in the NFL with 14, while the Ravens defense has the 3rd most sack total in the NFL with 32. So that's the battle to watch imo.

I think the defense will do as good a job as they did against ARod and the Pack if not better. The key will be the offense getting out to a fast start and allowing those guys to bully and hunt. But we all know how that story goes.

Probably have the best 1-2 combo in the league as far as WR duo's. Secondary will have their hands full.

yea that's a pretty good description of those guys. However I will say healthy or not, they are still very opportunistic. They've produced 12 Ints which is 2nd best, 15 forced fumbles which is tops and have scored 3 defensive TDs. So the offense will have to do a really good job of protecting the ball.

On the flip side these guys give up a ton of yards both rushing and passing, a ton of points, they can't get off the field on 3rd downs allowing 41% conversion and they 6.1 yards per play. All of this spells trouble for any defense. However.......

The Baltimore Ravens are showing little to now signs of life right now on offense especially at the oline position so none of this might not matter. The Bears has only produced 14 sacks this year, which should help the oline out a bit. The last time we team that couldn't get pressure, was the Steelers and despite the lost the offense fared pretty well. So hopefully this is a game that the big uglies can gain some confidence.

i believe these are the deciding factors of the game, if our front 7 can push the bears' oline and pressure McCown and how the offense will go about gaining these yards that the bears defense allows

i think we will score enough, my hope is that we would gain some of that yardage on the ground with Pierce so we limit the time our secondary goes looking for marshall and alshon; forte i believe we can neutralise
