Being Positive Is Contagious

5 posts in this topic

Lately theres been a lot of negativity on this forum, fans bashing other fans opinions on the Ravens, fans bashing the Ravens players, not putting any faith into them or the Team as a whole. The purpose of this particular thread is for us to express our faith of the Ravens in a positive way. If we keep a positive mind, then so will the Ravens. (Especially if any member of the Baltimore Ravens organization comes to this board) Being positive is contagious my fellow Raven fans.

I only want to see positive inputs in this thread, if you have something negative to say take it elsewhere. If this thread fails, then it fails, whatever. But I encourage that every TRUE Raven fan here keeps this thread alive with positive comments. And with that said...

I think sometimes people get realistic views confused with pessimsim. Sometimes people are trying to offer a realistic view of something and people take it the wrong way and bash them for being pessimistic. but with that being said...

I think there's definitely good reason to be optimistic as of right now in the season. Joe Flacco's building with the offense, players like Clayton and LeRon McClain are beggining to step up and be impact players, Todd Heap is beginning to be a factor for our offense, and our offensive line, even with injuries, have their backups step up and play at a very high level.

On defense, our Front 7 is the best like it always is, and our secondary is playing at a very high level with great cover-corners in Samari Rolle and Fabian Washington. Especially Fabian, who has impressed me the past 2 games. Ed reed has been, well, ed reed. Leonhard has stepped up and been a smart player.

Overall, we're headed in the right direction. :)
GO RAVENS!!! 9-4!!! (hopefully)

People get worried because of what happened last year with the injuries. We need more depth at OL DL and CB imo, but our backups are really playing out of their minds right now, and its a good thing they are. If Walker and Washington werent playing well, this could be last years ravens.

I think we still have a great chance at the playoffs, and we can start it all tonight winning at home

You could say the same thing if you replaced the word "pessimism" with "optimism"...

Yeah, i remember when at CB we had to resort to Corey Ivy as our #1 corner and Derrick Martin as our #2 corner..though derrick martin was and is injured, so we had to resort to David Pittman, a bust, Evan Oglesby, Ronnie Prude, and some dude from the practice squad. im glad we're through with that and we have 3 solid cover corners who can all start.
