remember madden said he was still too green back the week of our giants game now he says this;

"I have seen Joe Flacco a few times and there is nothing about him that looks like a rookie. This isn't your father's Baltimore Ravens. This is a team that can throw the ball now. Joe Flacco has gotten past that thing that he is a rookie. I don't even consider him a rookie any more and he has the receivers. It is not just we're going to run the ball and play defense, not with this Raven team, not with Joe Flacco. This team is as good throwing the ball as they are running it. "

then goes on to say it will be dificult because the skins D is REALY banged up , guess they are playing prevent because of injuries not because its what they want

Yeah, that John Madden <_< ...lol. I still don't think we're as good passing the ball as we are running it. Think about it. Our running attack is 3rd place overall, almost at it's peak. Our passing attack, though, is still a bit conservative, not nearly at it's peak. Joe Flacco is just executing plays and making the right decisions. Once Cam Cam thinks it's ready to let him loose, then we'll see the true Joe.

I cant wait to see flacco once he gets the reins on the whole offense... and hey how about a healthy offensive line?? that would be nice.... supposedly everyone is healthy on the line for tonights game.

I like how he says "this isn't your father's Baltimore Ravens team". He does realize our franchise has been around for only 12 years? You would have to be about 6 y.o. to have this remark actually applied.

LOL

Even if it was "our father's Baltimore Ravens" they won a Superbowl title 4 years after they became a franchise... :lol: MAdden is so old.

I still think Cam has a bit of a short leash on Flacco. I mean Cam has slowly been exposing a bit of the playbook at a time, and imo we're only seeing hints of what the real flacco's going to be like. i think on those long plays youre talking about, cam let joe take a calculated risk, and it workd. so Flacco's a beast but nowhere near his potential form.

Great he shows respect to Flacco but he is wrong about one thing and that is having the wr's.
