Do they hear us or not?

Must have been the brilliant Cam Cameron that got us through then. It would be awesome to have him back now , to see Harbs with all of his great decisions in one group.

I'm about to get slammed here but yesterday I thought Joe was starting to do very well in the last half. the defense failed and the secondary can't stop my grandmother with her walker , (best analogy I have). JImmy has been playing well everyone else not so much .

No slamming here, I think that too. They couldn't get off the field. We saw the same thing against Green Bay and Pittsburgh, too. The Dolphins even drove 40 yards in under a minute on their final drive.

I still can't believe people are still knocking Joe Flacco and his contract. Without him (and given the available QBs from this past off-season), the Ravens would have just a mere win, at most, and that's even with the struggles the offense has had. Dealing with little-and-inconsistent support (outside of Torrey Smith and Marlon Brown, really), Flacco has done everything he has to move the football and set-up the Ravens to score. It's not his fault there's barely any protection, no running game, he has to run for his life every play, deal with terrible play-calling and his receivers drop the football every now-and-then.

I just can't wait until the season (which, I hope is next year) when Flacco will be able to put-up those "numbers" with just the right amount of support. By then, I hope his "haters" are ready to eat crow!

I would say, if you're not just taking about the secondary, Daryl Smith has been huge for the Ravens, this year; and, the same goes for Terrell Suggs. However, everyone else is just too inconsistent on defense. Those players will have one big play, a game, and, then, they won't be heard from for the rest day (in a positive manner, that is).

Is that why he turned the 5-11 2007 team inito an 11-5 playoff contender? Is that why the team was up and down and largely inconsistent under Billick? Yeah, okay.

I feel ya, but every locker room message can get old. Because Harbs shoves a losing plan on the Offense, and won't admit failure, it has bit him in the butt. To make matters worse, he calls out players saying he'll cut guys and get rid of guys. Players aren't stupid. They know the difference between a good plan and a bad plan. Now you have mutiny on the offense.

I don't think we are seeing Caldwells offense. I believe this is Harbaughs Offense.

Well regardless of whose offense it is, it's terrible.

In his presser today, Harbaugh said he never makes play calls, but did tell them to do the QB sneak on 4th and 1.  It never has been Harbaugh's offense.

I don't believe anything he says. Especially not now.

No they don't freaking hear us, and thank God they don't. If Harbs and Ozzie did the things you crazy coots said we'd be 0-8, not 3-5.

Some people are insane on hear. It's amusing.

A common criticism of Harbaugh was that he wasn't involved in the offense and it was a weakness of his? Now he's too involved? Only after losses...

Not saying he calls plays, but to what degree is he formulating the plan with Castillo for Caldwell to run. Its basic vanilla and predictable

Seriously.  People are grasping for anything to hate on Harbaugh right now.

I dont like Harbaugh and some of the reasons have been listed and some have not, but as pertaining to the topic it is moot. The topic is do they hear us.

Sure they hear us, there is no way they dont. I am sure Harbaugh knows and him saying, " The true fans will stick with the team." To a point he was right, and on another he was wrong. On one it was because even though I dont like him, my team is first and foremost. I will always support the Ravens no matter who is the coach, I did it with Mattison, and I will continue to do so with Harbaugh, Castillo, and Pees. He is wrong in the sense that he is almost questioning peoples fanhood. Every time I have gone to the bank it has 70,000 people in it. It was like that before him and it iwll be that way after him. We will stick with the team, some will be behind him some wont such is life.

Now when people question Ozzie is where I become confused. When anyone in the league can show me a guy who drafts two fist ballot hall of famers, sports legends and icons, and both are legitimate contenders for the best at their position all time it really becomes hard to argue with that. Then drafting Flacco, Pitta, Rice, Art Brown, finds Marlon Brown off the street, Yanda, can get a franchise left tackle for mid round picks, and so on and so on, I really have a tough time arguing with the success. The recent knock is Flacco's contract. Yeah show me the bargaining leverage he had there. A QB goes on a historic post season run, brings back the lombardi and is MVP all without the help of a guy named Jerry rice of his modern day cohort and now all of the sudden you what ? Let him go ? yeah not likely. I will just never understand questioning Oz. The only knock I have for oz is that he really does not do well with receivers.

If he does hear us, I hope he just kind of smiles and laughs and then shakes his head and keeps on with his approach because whether the product on the field or not shows it, we are not short on talent at least any more so than most teams with a better record.

As to Harbaugh hearing us and doing something I doubt it. I dislike the guy for a few reasons and have since day one (when I saw his ego), odds are he has no reason to listen whether we be right or wrong. He is making millions doing it and has confidence of one of the best owners in the league to this point. I liken it to the Titanic. All that captains years of experience is how he landed the grandest vessel to date and gained command of it. All he knew told him that all would be well and good, it ended how it ended. Same with Harbaugh, if this persists he too will be gone. The difference is with Ozzie and Steve we will not be down for long. They are as committed to winning and us fans as we are to the team. I have faith in those two.

To the casual fan, sure.

12 k posts , yeah I gotta sleep.

Glad you like him , I'm sorry for your loss in the Cameron offense last year , but it looks like Harbs has found a way to extend it.

My question is this:

Who said or has direct knowledge that Harbaugh has "lost the locker room"?

There is a lot of supposition going on around here that makes this place sound like a knitting circle with a bunch of prattling members conjuring up their personal vision of Raven football FO management.  The character judgements being made, the "reasoning" about what the HC should do, the "You destroyed this, and you've ruined that".......I understanding venting, but for the love of Pete....

I won't argue the facts: 3-5 is a hole, and we need to lose the shovel and stop digging it deeper.  But putting an organization on a coaching or FO "merry-go-round" after one bad season start in 5 years.....too extreme.   It won't turn this ship at this point for this season.  I don't see this season as lost, but in a tough spot.  We need to stick by them and close ranks.

Execution on plays, limiting TO's, and flat out toughness, no matter what the "scheme" is, to me, is the right place to start.  To a man, everyone's got to buy in and believe in the guy next to them.

Who are the Ravens anyway?  Is it the players?  The FO?  The coaches? The owner(s)? The Fans?  People on here say they support the Ravens.  While anyone in the organization is on that payroll, that is who the Ravens are...... Support them.  Calling them out and insulting them is not support.  Asking for improvement is not unreasonable, but seems some on here have the propriety of   Atilla the Hun.

GO RAVENS!

I'm not sure what you are referring to regarding Cameron. I wanted him gone for a long time. If you think this offense has any resemblance to what Cameron's offense was last season you automatically lose any and all credibility.

Yeah, we fans are suffering an awful freaking lot right now. One potential losing season after five playoff seasons and a SB win. God forbid we have one losing season after five winning seasons.

We fans are spoiled brats.

Bring back Cam Cameron.

Cam was good at some things, but he was also so stubborn in some aspects. I can't say I want him back, but I wish we cuold combine the best aspects of Cam and Caldwell into an actual OC.

The problem is Harbaugh isn't pissed off for greatness. Once he got paid for winning the SB he doesn't care anymore. He just wants to hire all of his buddies and laugh it up about how much he is screwing the organization. I can't believe you don't see this.
