Do they hear us or not?

150 posts in this topic

It's obvious that fans, the media and even other teams see the issues and problems going on. We grumble and boo and post comments here. But do you think that the organization hears our frustrations? With the team issues, with Harbum's bff Juan and the need for him to go, with how unhappy fans are? Or do they turn a blind eye and ear to all that? I don't know. I think if they did then something would have happened by now.

well, in their defense, no organization has been successful off the inexperienced fan opinion lol. But they have done things that have been what we wanted. Got rid of Cam last year, the offense is in Joes hands right now, we got a new left tackle.

They aren't going to do anything that would jeopardize the franchise.  Listening to a whole bunch of casual fans (and some educated ones) is exactly what they're not going to do.

Right now Joe IS the offense. We got a new left tackle but still no run game. Starting to think Cam was just ONE of the problems.

*Opinion here...  I live in FL, was talking to a friend who is a Steelers fan.  He made an interesting statement today.  Now, You really gotta feel bad for them getting a 50+ burger put up on them yesterday...  but anyway, his statement made a lot of sense... A fellow football fan from Cincy said...

"You Steelers and Ravens fans are whining?, Really?...  Us (Bengals), and the Browns have been at the bottom for years, you guys have one bad season and you think the world is ending".....  The browns are the only franchise in the league that haven't made it to a Super Bowl".

Reality???  He's kinda right.  But, yes we do expect a lot from our team.  We expect our team to hear us and listen.  And we have a lot of young players, and a couple newer coaches...  Do we need help?  Absolutely, but we must be patient...

50 burger is my favorite football phrase of all time! I think I heard it (or saw it) for the first time last year after the Oakland game.

They wont listen to us no matter how often we've proven smarter than them. For years we wanted Cam Cameron gone. They didn't fire him until we lost to Charlie Batch and then the Deadskins. All of last year we wanted Bryant McKinnie back at left tackle. They didn't do that until the playoffs. Those two changes won us a Super Bowl and I'm 100% sure if they fire Juan Castillo this team will be back on track. I've seen this too many times now when the fans can identify a problem literally years before our coaching staff does. Its disgusting.

well without us fans the ravens or any other sports team would be nothing. we pay money on there stuff and tickets to the games etc.. that should count for something. i have said it before and i will say it again the problem is the head coach john harbaugh. i cant stand that guy never have. that guys ego is to big, hes hard headed and just a plain stupid idiot. he tampered with the teams formula thats has worked well, and all for what to give his buddy castillo a job. harbaugh doesnt care want us fans think at all. hes a prima donna thats the main cancer in that locker room. are things going to change, not now. harbaugh needs to go plain and simple. dont know why people praise this guy.

The Green Bay Packers are the only team I know that probably really listens to the fan base.

They should....since the fans own the team.

this is going to be the worst year for this team. why they gave harbaugh a extension is behind me. i dont care about 5 years in playoffs etc...  and a superbowl. that was all nice. even then i hasnt happy. i cant stand harbaugh's face. every time i see it on t.v i want to punch something.

If the Ravens listed to the fans we would of had Tyrod Taylor starting the past two seasons with 4-12 records. I'm just glad people are smarter here than those people who call 105.7 the Fan.

I'm on board with this at this point.

They are changing the offensive line but the fact is, KO is done for the year and we have 2 inexperienced, not so great players playing next to each other in Gino and AQ. Ray Rice looks like McGahee did.

Our top 4 contracts for 2014 are all slumping this year (Webb, Rice, Ngata, Yanda) and Joe will be getting quite a bit too. I read somewhere (i think RSR) that 53% of our cap is in 7 guys and those 7 guys aren't exactly playing lights out including Flacco

I am actually on the list for season tickets, thanks to my maternal grandfather. :) My great-grandkids might be able to use them one day 60 years from now (although I've been on the list since 1989).

Say you do fire Harbaugh, who do you want to bring in? One of those college coaches like Schiano?! Or a coach that has bounced around?

Juan needs to go but not Harbaugh. I have no idea what is wrong with our secondary.

I'm thinking of that picture of him holding the Lombardi , lol.

Then it shouldn't take this long for them to see the problem

everybody is pointing fingers at everybody. it starts with the head coach. that guy makes the calls. biscotti has trust in him thats why he wont step in. harbaugh is a prima donna along with his psycho brother in san fran. sorry guys zone blocking isnt going anywhere. we are going to have to deal with it. whats it going to take flacco getting hurt. harbaugh is such a prima donna he would probably fire his best buddy to keep his job. i hope the ravens lose the rest of there games i really do. then the whole franchise would get cleaned out. harbaugh, castillo and pees go bye bye. pees is another <not nice>. he is getting way to much credit for our defense. that one thing that has changed coach wise on defense is mr. spags. that guys has been invisible. have not seen him on the side lines interviews nothing. spags is a master a making plays to get after the q.b. 2007 giants. our team defense fits his scheme perfectly. pees throws his 2 cents in whatever. pees is very conservative with little agressiveness. i am not saying spags is the whole reason why, but he has something to do with our defense this year. i would like to see hom as full time d-coord.

Right on. Hope Flacco doesn't get hurt but that is what it will take for Harbum to open his eyes.

I have no idea how our team is up against the salary cap with the product that we are putting on the field.  This is embarrassing.  Big contracts and we can't even get off the field on defense or stay on it on offense and there is money spent on both sides of the ball.

If they were listening to us Boldin would still be here.  Just saying.

No they don't freaking hear us, and thank God they don't. If Harbs and Ozzie did the things you crazy coots said we'd be 0-8, not 3-5.
