What a horrible game - worst game I have ever seen. The offense is a waste.  This team is doomed to fail.  Fans need a refund for paying to watch this crappy game - season is over.....forget it - Ravens can't score points and the Offense is an embarassment.

Were cheering for Carolina now....

The Chiefs have absolutely NOTHING to play for. They can't improve their position and will rest their starters for the playoffs, so Chargers will easily win that game. The only good thing about that is that the Steelers will not be getting in. Because I believe Miami can beat Geno Smith at home, we will not make playoffs even if we beat the Bengals. I am soooooooo bummed!

team is done ! Worst home loss in the history of the team  - someone needs to have a team meeting Monday morning.  Fans need to be paid to come to any more games.

so we need to win at bengals and hope one of miami or chargers lose; bengals can only get 3rd seed now as the highest; chiefs have got nothing to play for; jets might play for the pride; man what a terrible mess

No if the Pats lose next week the Bengals still have a shot to get a bye, so they have something to play for.

Jet players are pretty upset about the reports that Rex Ryan is most likely getting fired, so i can see them playing with a lot of passion against the fins. Plus there division rivals so i'd say it's a throwup. But like people are saying, we don't even deserve to get in after today..

What the hell did i just see out there today. that was just plain awful by all phases of the team. even justin tucker missed a FG thats what kind of day it was, it just wasn't ment to be. 8-8 this team doesn't deserve to be in the playoffs after today. #W....T......H....

Let me put it this way......

Super Bowl 45: 10-6 Packers as the 6th seed Wild Card Team, Super Bowl Champions.

Super Bowl 46: 9-7 Giants as the 6th Seed Wild Card Team, Super Bowl Champions.

So don't sit there and say that us winning and getting to 9-7 and going all the way again isn't possible. In fact if you include us as division winners the last three SB Champs have been 10-6, 9-7 and 10-6. None of the high seeds have won since the Saints did it in 2009.

This is very doable, get in and who you knows what can happen.

"We don't deserve to be in the playoffs anyway." So I guess if/when we get in next week we should just give our spot to Miami?

If we win, we still have the inside lane. So I'm sticking with 50/50.

If I'm not mistaken, here's the picture:

*If we win, and ONE of SD/Miami also wins, we advance. We have the better conference record than SD and hold head to head over Miami.

*If we win, and BOTH of SD/Miami also win, we commence the tank for Clowney because Miami has a better conference record than us.

*If we lose, I'm pretty sure Ozzie himself could not save us. I wonder how a four-way tie with the Steelers would look.

Absolutely! No surrender. No retreat.

Thank you.I hate when people say a team deserves to win or doesn't.The chargers should've been in the playoffs the last two years but they didnt cause the couldn't handle business. The ravens "didn't" deserve to be in the playoffs cause the lost the last 4 of five but we handled business. No team deserves a win or a lose. These aren't awards for good attendance in high school, these are professional football teams whose jobs are to win.Nothing more, nothing less.

I'd be pretty upset.

:)

but we would get SUCH good karma paying it forward like that!!!

Maybe next year some other team will pay it forward to US and let us into the playoffs.

And every one will sit around and drink tea and lemonade and have such a good time of peace and harmony....

I say we get in. We win next week against Cincinnati. Tough game, but we win at the end. Miami wins, but Chargers lose. We take back the 6th seed and play wild-card weekend wherever we're placed. I still think it can happen. But losing today was still massive. I just think the Bengals are the weakest division winners in the AFC, and they're going to show it on their home turf next Sunday.

Ravens have a slim shot. Even if they win and Miami wins they need SD to lose. Odds are bad. Take Miami, they have a big edge on the unfolding events. Ravens got a About a 20 percent chance.

0% of Division and oddly enough, 43.754% we take 6th seed. Miami is 37.471% and SD is 12.579% Ha, Pitt is still holding on at 06.196%

Pitt needs losses by us, Miami, and SD to get in.  That's highly unlikely to happen.

This is bs. Bengals 7-0 at home, Ravens 2-5 on road. Beating dreadful Lions on 61 yd fg who just lost to lowly Giants. Flacco is hurt also. I give maybe a 25% chance of winning this game alone. Miami 4-3 at home plays bad Jets road team with Gino Smith at QB. 65chance % or so Miami wins. Then SD plays at home to a Cheifs team who might be sitting players out in a meaningless game. Ravens have in reality a very very slim chance with this scenario. 1 Miami, #2 SD..
Ravens very slightly behind SD in chance to advance. Cant see even close to a 43%.chance of even Beating Bengals on road. Thier season ended with that clunker vs NE.

Sadly i think our team while not lacking in athletic ability is lacking in football iq. We could do with some edelmans or amendolas. God bless jacoby and torrey but they really are a bit too 1 dimensional.

Against accidents like stafford or below average qbs we look good..but against manning and now brady..a combined 91 points. Elam has no football iq and iheidgbo..god bless him...is a great special teamer who overachieved at times this year.

Also...suggs and rice and ngata...if they care about this team need to take a paycut so we can maybe lure bryd or vontai davis or decker in the off season.

Agreed. Ihedigbo is awful. Elam is better at SS.
