I agree. Would you like to GM the Ravens? You and Sami? You guys could be like our next Ozzie & Eric. You know, since Sami is so good at scouting and you seem to be pretty smart when it comes to GM moves.

What I'm saying is that we need a change.  A new front office and a new coach. That's right, a new coach too. If we are rebuilding, lets not retain the guys that made drastic changes to undo the team.

Pittsburgh is clearly in the same boat. We want to come out of this in a couple years with new blood and a new vision.

Ozzie has been great for us, but its time.

This is completely true. Couldn't agree more. We are not fighting. That's the issue. These players aren't mentally tough.

they are not!  no fire!  no heart!  no passion!  fierceness to take the bull by the horns and just manhandle the cat in front of you!  it's pathetic to watch!  and, I use to say that "the Ravens are better than how they are playing!"  ummm...no!  they are not!

Flacco played EXCEPTIONALLY today in the second half. About a half dozen plays in the first half that didn't do us any favors but didn't hurt the team any more than everyone else on offense was hurting the team. But the entire team was playing poorly in the first half. The difference is that Flacco came out and was the best player on the field on either team in the second half, but the rest of his team was still sleepwalking. Don't blame Flacco for this loss.

I am not even joking when I say fire all coordinators. All FOUR of them (how utterly ridiculously that we even have a run game coordinator). Special teams, run game, defensive, offensive... Fire them all... I don't even care what fill-ins get placed in their spot for a temporary position, just get rid of them. Send the necessary shockwaves to the team. None of these four coordinators are doing even close to a league average job. They are far under par. None of them are helping this team. Cut the crap loose. We need to wake up.

I agree with you. They're not getting the job done and while the poor player execution isn't entirely their fault the matter remains it's easier to find new coordinators than players and we've seen what new coordinators can do. Just look at the Browns.

Are we gonna keep saying this week in and week out until week 17 when we're 6-10 and missing the playoffs? I can see it now. The wildcard round comes along and people are still saying "don't worry we just need more time things will be fine"

I don't believe in going in a panic mode or getting upset believing there is no hope for this team . I rather believe everything is going to be fine  and I strongly believe  it will be and if we miss the playoffs this season   oh well theres always next year; This is a team  that lost  four leaders in Boldin, Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, and Matt Birk  its expected to have growing pains or should I say the  problems the team is facing   now.

As the season goes along. Ihedigbo has come down to Earth week by week. We are actually playing with 2 SS in the backend. It affects down field pass defense because both constantly peaking in the backfield or biting on play fakes because they want to make big hits.

Problem is the team practices against each other. Defense probably looks great against that pathetic Oline until 4th quarter when the defense folds.

great point!  but it can go both ways actually....

the offense practices against our defense and it gives up big plays and can't stop the run and the offense looks great!

the defense practices against our offense and it struggles, stales and is stagnant and the defense looks great!

Pitta needs to placed on complete IR. Don't push that guy to return to this team early risk re-injury for this type of play.

and you know exactly who I blame for that. I said it in the offseason that it wil be interesting how this team does when the leaders, the tough guys, alpha males, the men with some fight and passion all left minus a couple. It's backfired

I remember last season when everyone was shouting to fire Cam Cameron - and it worked

I remember last season when everyone was preaching to put McKinnie back at left tackle - and it worked

Now everyone is screaming to fire Juan Castillo and change our running scheme. I guarantee 100% if these two things happen we will be a championship caliber team. The offense will click, less 3 and outs, the defense will be well rested and wont fall apart by the 4th quarter. Its like 2010 all over again.

As said before, we aren't a bad team.  We're just not playing well.  There's no heart.  There's no sense of urgency.  We seem to just be going through the motions.

I really hope as somebody from germany I don`t get the irony in your words... otherwise I expect to life in a parallel universe and in yours the browns made the playoffs 5x in a row....

Also. It was beginning to drive me crazy in the first half as the announcers basically called our plays. "Well let's see Flacco said when there's 6 in the box he will check to a run so this is a run. And bingo it's a run for -3. , hmmm 6 in box again I bet Flacco checks and it's a loss of -2. "

I'm sitting here like surely there has to be other checks and audibles he can call. Need to do more crossing patterns , and slants to get Torrey smith the ball early and to soften the defense.

I think it's a mistake to have cut Bernard Pollard now. I realize he has those dumb penalties but truthfully, he brought that fire and we don't have it right now. Webb clearly isn't providing it to the secondary and neither is Haloti to the DL. In fact, our DL has suffered since we lost Redding and before him Gregg. I don't think Ngata has ever been a leader. I think our defensive leadership is on Terrell Suggs, and he can't do it by himself.

he just needs to step up in the first half if hits a wide open jacoby on the first drive and does'nt throw that rainbow int maybe this game ends differntly

Im not saying it is but you definitely  have fans right now  believing its over for the team , there is no hope, they can't get better, cut ray rice, and so much more which in something I refuse to accept or think.

It sucks that Ray Rice sucks so bad this year that even if his contract was jacked up we wouldn't be able to sale a trade because he has become a liability in all facets of the game running, receiving, and blocking.

I told people that the Browns would do well this year. I always thought they had the talent but didn't have the coaching to get it to work. Now they have that. I'm not sure I even like their HC but their coordinators are awesome. I was so mad when they got Horton. I wanted him bad. I still wish we got him. I wanted Norv, and still want him now after this. We always struggle against Norv Turner. Always.

Have you ever seen Ihedigbo's pregame speeches?  That guy has some fire under him.  I don't think it's a leadership issue, to be honest.  I think it's just not having two SS's that is the real issue.

You could say the same about anything. Thats just semantics. You are what your record says you are. Our record says we're mediocre at best.

Same for Doss on the droped Punt , or on Player-X on the X-3rd down... they just lost this one as a team!

Its the same ole, same ole.Offense can't do anything in the first half, or giving the d a lead to work with. Or the defense with a stop to give the offense even a chance to save the game, unable to come through yet again in the clutch.

Yea the dropped pint hurt and obviously lead to a td, but his 30 plus yard return lead us to a td as well, so IMO they cancel out.

No, I haven't so perhaps that's true. I have no idea about it so I can't speak on that. But Reed did put guys into position and we are absolutely missing that. I don't think Daryl Smith is putting guys into position like Ray did. Granted, Ray is Ray. I know that. I just think perhaps we should change the green dot. I'd even give it to McClain and I'm not his biggest fan. Our communication is very poor and the guys have no fight

Last year's Suggs could do it. But for whatever reason, if you haven't noticed, he got quiet this season.

We aren't missing Pollard. He struggled in coverage, it was his weak point and still is. Plus, he not only got "some dumb penalties" he is the 4th on the list for the most personal fouls in the entire NFL since 2005. It's bad enough they are now making up personal fouls to call on us without Pollard actually giving them some.

Ultimately, a team lacking spirit, fight and fire points to a coaching problem, not a player problem.
