the problem is..WE ARE HANDCUFFED

RICE NGATA WEBB ETC

we actualy cant get rid of them..

they could also return to form.  A lot of players do.  Or they could not.  Really Ngata is only another year, not sure the situation on Webb.  I think he may be able to be released.

What do we do now? I mean we had two weeks to prepare for the game. We should have been extra motivated with the Bengals losing. We blew it. It really sucks being a fan sometimes.

Okay serious response now:

QB - Joe Flacco played pretty poorly today.  It happens.

RB - Both Rice and Pierce are just bad this year.  Neither are making good decisions.  Rice is taking himself out of plays consistently.

WR - Not too much to complain about here.

TE - Ditto WR.

OL - BAD.  I think Monroe did well.  Outside of him, everyone was terrible.

DL - Hit or miss.  Ngata looked bad.  Cody and Williams looked alright at times.  It wasn't a good day.

LB - Again, hit or miss.  On the outside, we aren't getting the QB down.  Daryl Smith is still good.  McClain was alright.

CB - Graham was abused, and Webb didn't play well either.  Jimmy Smith is still doing phenomenal.

S - Ihedigbo is struggling a bit right now.  I don't think Elam did too poorly.

ST - What is going on with Koch?

The run game was horrid.. again. The defensive line wasn't so bad to be honest.

Our secondary was letting themselves get torched every critical play. Joe was off, I'm on the opposite spectrum of a "Flacco hater", but he missed throws, failed to lead receivers on occasion.. etc. He was good at times, in fact, I think if we had more time on the clock he could have scored in the end there.

This game was a burden to watch.

I agree, this game was hard to watch.  Joe was running for his life again, run game didn't get going and Offense never got in sync

The offense sucks it up for a while, and the defense keeps us in it. Then when they realize they have to score, the defense sucks it up

the positive of this game is that knowing we can't make the playoff this year we can get high draft picks to get a better o line not piece meal players, I think we can protect flacco put tyrod taylor in the rest of the way since we have absolutely no hope of winning anymore games this year . joe will be safe and we can try again next year .

Are we gonna keep saying this week in and week out until week 17 when we're 6-10 and missing the playoffs? I can see it now. The wildcard round comes along and people are still saying "don't worry we just need more time things will be fine"

in 8 games matt elam has had 1 PD and an easy fumble recovery and has MADE NO PLAYS NONE

hes a bust

true ravens and the best ravens that come through the draft make plays early.

The omen isnt good. I also said he was a wasted pick. Hes too small and to stupid to make plays.

I get myself in trouble for yelling at the TV when I see us make bad plays or someome is wide open. The offense is really looking bad. We shoud of made a trade. I don't like talking bad about the players but I think someone needs to tell Mr. Biscotti to step in and stop Harbaugh from hiring his friends. I think it's time to talk to caldwell and tell him to step it up, and Pee's is just not getting it done anymore. I am a fan, a Ravens fan and my team is in trouble from the coaching staff to the starting players. I do not know why changes are not being made. Is the season over?

I'm amazed how you people could question Ozzie. Smh.

You could put as much talent on the field as you want but if your coaches are incompetent it doesn't matter.

Look at Tampa Bay

We are just playing awful, no fight in the players, something needs to be done to shake them up.

This is completely true. Couldn't agree more. We are not fighting. That's the issue. These players aren't mentally tough.

The number 1 bust has been Ozzie Newsome, but Matt Elam is not a football player.

Tend to agree, but our play at safety also lays directly at the feet of Ozzie Newsome

Can't fire him but I put this whole season on Harb's shoulders. He chose to hire another buddy of his and refuses to admit his mistakes. Why he continues to let this team lose more and more just to save face is beyond me.

Problem is the team practices against each other. Defense probably looks great against that pathetic Oline until 4th quarter when the defense folds.

I agree. Would you like to GM the Ravens? You and Sami? You guys could be like our next Ozzie & Eric. You know, since Sami is so good at scouting and you seem to be pretty smart when it comes to GM moves.

I am not even joking when I say fire all coordinators. All FOUR of them (how utterly ridiculously that we even have a run game coordinator). Special teams, run game, defensive, offensive... Fire them all... I don't even care what fill-ins get placed in their spot for a temporary position, just get rid of them. Send the necessary shockwaves to the team. None of these four coordinators are doing even close to a league average job. They are far under par. None of them are helping this team. Cut the crap loose. We need to wake up.

It appears Harbs is about to find out that he walked into a pretty good thing and by year 6, he helped dismantle it.
