They say: This Will Be A Playoff Game Type-Battle!

Ravens 28 - Bengals 17

This is just my humble opinion...no...I Believe!!!

Forget about the Power Rankings, Vegas and Fantasy Stats. This is Our House!!!

The Ravens and Bengals share almost exact team and individual stats in every facet of the game, but the Ravens lead in most. It will come down to game breaking plays and who gets the most. We will neutralize Green from big plays (as we've done before) and balance our run and passing attacks (particularly the run because they believe we've given up on it), we will exploit there suspect secondary on offense and neutralize their defense. Because this is a 'playoff' game for the Ravens, Joe will put up numbers. He always does in these types of games. So, do other Raven players. Because the Bengals were picked to win the Division by everybody but us, they will fold. Hardly anyone has ever picked us to win anything since we've been the Ravens except us. So, why don't we just take a chance and believe what we know to be true? We win playoff games. They say this is a playoff game? Will bring it.

Caldwell and Pees both have said that our guys are thinking too much instead of playing instinctive football. They have practiced enough. They just do not trust themselves during game time. I hope this is the week when our guys just trust each other and play their positions from instinct. We will not be defeated if that happens. Otherwise just watch the show and take good plays when we can get them because the games overall will not be pretty. Come on guys - Play like Ravens and win!!

Are we going to have a running game?  If we don't how are we going to win this?

Are we going to come back from 13 points down late, needing the defense to get off the field and allow our offense the ball?

Is one bad break going to be enough to ruin any chance we have to win?  One bad break again and we're done?

Is Coach Harbaugh going to forgo a penalty challenge, or attempt an onside kick, or fake a field goal and burn up our last clear chance?

Soon, some may be asking themselves, "Do we really want to win this game"?

Is it too early to begin playing for next season?.....Trying out guys in games like this, division rivalry games to see how the rookies and young players respond.  Not worrying so much about the result but rather evaluating what we have.

Who is on Green? Jimmy or Webby?

I used to have a rule in Fantasy Football that you never start an opponent against the Ravens Defense. Well not only did I break that rule some time ago, I also pick up the defenses of our opponents knowing our anemic offense will give them a lot of points....

I hope this backfires on me. Believe me, I ll love it. And if not....at least I got fantasy points?!! :surrender:

In 2007, I sat in a cold, rainy December Home game while Peyton Manning picked us apart. I left to get up in the 3rd quarter...

...so that I can move down to behind the bench as most of the fans had left. As an O's and Caps' fan, the Ravens have not let me down like they have and I will always support my 3 teams.

I think this whole season we have like 3 passing TD in the first half.   2nd or 3rd worst in the league.

Lets see some TDs early in the 1st half.

Speaking of which why don't they change this?

To me, this is a must win. Even if we can technically make the playoffs if we lose, I just don't think we could dig ourselves out of that hole.

This will most likely be another ugly, painful game to watch no matter what the final score is. I'm hoping to see us come out blazing, although that seems to be unlikely. As the saying goes: hope for the best, expect the worst.

Agreed. I think we even adopted it from some losing fanbase.

We took it from the Bills and they've started winning. We'll be the losing team until some poor fan base takes the idea from us, just like that episode of How I Met Your Mother.

This is a season defining game. No two ways about it. This game shows whether or not this team has pride, resilience and the heart to win. If they win, regardless of how, then there's hope. If we lose this game then I feel this season is lost because we have to have those three aforementioned qualities to win in the playoffs and make and win in the Super Bowl.

Each season tells its own story last season was to me the greatest story ever told in the game considering the AFC defeat the year before.

Joe's never lost 4 games in a row.  The home game advantages (replay, crowd noise, ect) will hit all their ques and the turnaround that we've had to wait all season for is just about to happen.  Probably won't win by more than 3-7 points but the momentum will shift and "The Run" will begin so to speak.
