Week 9 - Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns

Can we get a blow out? Haven't had a blowout win in a while.

That doesn't exist for the Baltimore Ravens. That wouldn't be fair. The NFL would turn off the lights or something..

Hopefully with enough rest and us getting healthier(with the exception of KO, and Oher if I'm correct), possibly.

But the oline has a tough task today

Sure would be nice.  Not sure if I know what it's like to watch the 4th quarter of a game without worrying about the win.

Big game today, especially with the help of the Bengals loss on TNF. I'm really excited to see what we have done to fix our problems during the bye.

What's everyone's first offensive play prediction? I say we will run up the middle with Rice for about an 8 yard gain.

It's going to be tough against the Brown's D-Line, might require a little trickery instead of straight grit up the middle.

If I'm not mistaken we had 98 rushing yards vs them earlier this year which is our 2nd highest total of the year.

Sure would like to see some up-tempo O with the hurry-up and no-huddle. It's rarely let us down..........don't know why we don't use it more........along with the read option/play action and shotgun. I think it's where Flacco is at his best.

I'm expecting another low-scoring affair.

That's almost guaranteed. Not too efficient O's and very good D's on both sizes. That seldom leads to shootouts :D Well, 'd be happy with a 2:0 win tonight (that's the lowest possible winning score, isn't it?). This isn't the time we have to excel and shine - that can come next week (and from then on), we'll definitely need our A game against the Bengals. Tonight we'll "only" need to outscore the Browns. Won't be as easy as it used to be, won't be pretty - but it'll be us ;)

I'll make some bold predictions before this game for a little fun

but not too bold...

1. Flacco will not throw an interception today.

2. Torrey Smith will have a TD today in the first quarter for the first time this year.

3. Ihedigbo will have a int. returned for a TD

4. Rice will not have 100 yards, but will be very close to it. Combined rushing yards today will near 140 yards.

Seems pretty bold to me. Not sure about #2 or #4. The Torrey Smith thing is a little specific. I can see an Ihedigbo INT, but I don't know about a TD return. Maybe a Jimmy Smith INT? Jason Campbell isn't known for his accuracy.

First play of the game? Hand off to Rice for a yard gain? Followed by another hand off to a rice for -2, then a pass that's dropped...am I wrong?

It's almost like you would love to see that we made no adjustments or changes for the better during our bye week.

Guys and Dolls, remember the board rules still apply, especially, no all caps post, no profanity, and no personal attacks.

Never thought I'd be so excited for Cody being active, but the big guy is a go and I think it's great.

Also I expect a huge game from Flacco to Doss working the middle. And if Omar gets any defensive snaps I think he has his hands involved in a turnover.

So, is it true that Castillo isn't the O-line coordinator as of today? I read it in another thread, wondering if anybody else has heard about it.

Yeah I've heard he's been "demoted"

I'm really looking forward to Cody being back. He should shut down the run.

I've seen that reported in print via the Baltimore Sun and RSR, but who knows, guess we will see.

I was kinda hoping someone changed his clock back and he missed the plane! lol
