Week 9 Discussion (Other Teams)

I was going to wait for JO to start the thread, but I wanted to start bashing the Bengals a little early this week.

First up Cincinnati (6-2) at Miami (3-4).  Really hoping Miami pulls this one out to help us out a bit.  Miami's o-line definitely looked better last week with the addition of McKinnie - so hopefully Ryan Tennehill will spend a little less time eating dirt than when he encountered our dominating pass rush.

Week 9 is here and it kicks off with an AFC Clash between the Bengals and Dolphins. The Dolphins missed out on a huge upset to keep the AFC East Title race close but a win tonight and a win by the Steelers will most certainly keep them in the hunt. The Sunday Night game sees the official winds of change swaying back in the favor of the Colts as they play the Houston Texans. In a huge divisional game, Da Bears travel to Green Bay.

Miami need to win this game in favor for them and us... it's enough of NE automatic divisional champ...and there is 1.5 game closer to the Bengals if we win this Sunday...

Go Miami!

Go Maimi !!! I was optimistic until I heard there right tackle is out still I will be rooting for maimi to take out the bengals.

Whitworth (LT) is out for the Bengals.  Probably going to see the QB hurried on both sides of the ball tonight.

Ohhhhh Grim, I sure hope you are right! lol

I like the Miami DL against the Bengals OL. I think it'll give them real problems. I think they match up well. Both are on a short week so I usually like the home team under those circumstances.

Is Ellerbe playing?

Also remember that McKinnie, Ellerbe and Wallace know the Bengals.

Geno Atkins down, Bengals D is already banged up, but losing Atkins would be hard to over come.

Watching Bryant McKinnie play so well after only being in Miami for 2 weeks makes me think that maybe our o-line personnel are not the problem.

McKinnie was clearly a problem here. It's all about motivation for him, and for whatever reason he did not feel the need to block in Baltimore.

So the Bengals look beatable. :D

It helped that the Atkins got injured, that may have just changed the entire game.

It's entirely possible that losing his starting gig & getting traded was a bit of a wake up call. Still, I think Castillo is also a big part of the O line problem.

Go Miami!

Yeah, I won't deny that McKinnie played like crap while he was here...but I want to know the reason why he was playing like crap.  Was it all motivation, or is there some other reason?
