Omar Brown and Brynden Trawick signed from practice squad.

Harbs trying to improve our special teams. Disappointing these guys couldn't contribute. Thoughts?

I like Omar Brown. He is a good player. Trawick is like a rash that keeps coming back. Let's hope his time on the practice squad showed him how to open his eyes and look for his teammates and not injure them. I knew Huff would be gone. Not expecting it the Spears cut though.

Williams outplayed Spears and Huff has struggled since signing here . I can't wait to see brown contribute he is a playmaker and I look forward to his contribution on special teams . The Ravens signed wide receiver Kamar Aiken (Central Florida) and quarterback Nick Stephens (Tarleton State) to the practice squad.I don't know these two players at all but welcome to baltimore

I have full confidence that Omar will prove this to be the correct decision besides huff playing not so well.

I was surprised Huff had a spot over Omar.

I like the move. Spears was struggling to contribute on a loaded D-line, and Huff couldn't cover anyone. Omar is great depth at safety and has shown that he can play special teams, WHICH WE NEED. I'm not sure about Trawick, but hopefully he can contribute and not make a fool of himself.

Side Note: How much in dead money is there from cutting Huff?

Who gets cut when Asa comes back?

More than likely Trawick, Jeromy Miles, or Anthoney Levine. Asa can play special teams, and we currently have 6 safeties. They'll probably watch how all three play Sunday, and whoever had the worst performance is gone

Trawick is fast and can hit. He just hits the wrong players.

Apart from one of the dumber plays of recent years, Trawick flashed really quality special teams ability during preseason.  Also huff got beat on the long return by Sanders.

Trawick made a rookie mistake he has showed promise on special teams and that is sorely needed right now . I'm willing to bet he doesn't repeat that mistake

It would make me really happy if we gave Omar Brown a chance at FS with Elam at SS. He might not be good but I'd like to see what he can do in an actual game so we know whether we need a FS next year in the draft or not.

Haha...just ask Jacoby...almost ran Doss out of bounds on that return for a TD

That is really my issue with him. I like Jacoby and he took him out. I was literally screaming at the television. I can't let that go until he shows me something other than hurting his own team. To me right now he is a mole.

Who gets cut when Asa comes back?

Hopefully Corey Graham... Just playing, kinda, but I think Asa steals his job and never looks back. Don't know why, just have a feeling he does well when he returns.
