Cleveland Browns Stadium this Sunday

Hey All,

 

Have any of you been to the Browns stadium? I'm making the trip from Columbus this Sunday and worried about the atmosphere. 

 

Anyone going this week? Do we normally travel well there?

The last time I was there was in 2005 for a December Ravens/Browns game.

Atmosphere was pretty nice, fans were decent. My dad and I had our Ravens gear on and didn't get any grief - maybe the fact that both teams were well out of playoff contention did that. I'll say this, though: like any stadium, if you ask for trouble you'll get it. One Ravens fan was being obnoxious and had an entire section going after him.

But Browns fans are not as hostile as others. In fact, they were more angry at their punter (Kyle Richardson) than anything the Ravens were doing.

The game itself was an agonizing Boller-Frye matchup which ended 20-16 Browns. The stadium itself is not as nice as M&T but few places are.

I have gone three times over the years and never had a problem . I wouldn't be "that loud obnoxious guy" I wore my ravens jersey cheered etc .the fans were great a little trash talking but all in good fun each time no problems .

Avoid sitting in the Dawg Pound section like I did in 2001 wearing Ravens gear, fans saluted me with the finger, some guy puffed on his cigar and blew it in my face and to make matters worse this was the first time the Browns beat the Ravens and they acted like they just won the Super Bowl.
