James opens himself to the "bashing" if you think me questioning him sitting is "bashing". Ha!

I also hate, HATE the city of Miami and almost every single meat head from that city. So, that may sway me a touch. ;)

Okay. This is 2014 , so I'm talking about the Heat. Also, Jordan never acted like an butt with "not 1, not 2, not 3....". BUT did grab 6. Just hate the arrogance.

WHOA ... Michael jordan is probably the most arrogant athlete to ever walk this earth..

Seen Everywhere- The blind hate for Lebron is absolutely ridiculous and the pedestal that jordan has been on is sickening. It's like he's God almighty

Don't worry, they'll all be underwater in a few years.

LOL  You're talking about the Heat but Jordan's never far from the conversation for you when it comes to LeBron.  And like Jordan wasn't arrogant. Remember when he punched a teammate in the face?

Pop still looks mad about the team not executing enough. Lol

How long do you think before Pop starts thinking about next year?

If Lebron punched someone on the team and got kicked out of practice like jordan did, you'd have a petition going around to kick him out of the league

So what team will LeBron embark to now? Imagine trying to defend him and Aldridge at the same time. -_-

This is gonna be a fun offseason!

Yes, he is. I guess you missed my exact example I was referring to. Stating the guarantee of multiple rings (6 or 7, right?).

No doubt. What if LeBron was out gambling during the play-offs?

Like you said man, people act like MJ was a god.

On the court, he was.

They keep talking about the Red Sox redemption and all, what about the most recent Ravens! Whatever lol.

Duncan is the only player to win a championship in 3 decades. Just think for a second about how amazing that is. Him and Jim Palmer are the only ones I know who have done that. Anyone in football do it? Doubt it.

That's why we all loved Jordan.  He was a character, heck all the old players were.  Almost everyone is so boring nowadays, and Lebron is the epitome of that.  He has no personality outside of what his endorsers tell him.  There's no reason to like him.

So one statement in a joking manner at a "pep rally" automatically makes him the cockiest person on earth? cause that's how he gets treated

Honestly don't know why I even debate this crap.. Just hate seeing double standards

LeBron is now 2-3 in the finals. Spurs will probably be only team to beat him twice. But even Matt Bonner has more rings than him lol.

I really like LeBron, and I think when he retires he'll be appreciated as up there with the best of all time.

But him aside (though even including him to an extent), the Heat are such an unlikeable team, the way they hold themselves and the way they got assembled in particular. And there's no way in hell that city deserves a perennial contender like they have.

Backing up the arrogance played part as well. Jordan should have said "not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5" and then go grab 6. If the idiot didn't "retire" it would have been 8 (yes 8) in a row!

I did because of posts like this:

Heat look flat and pathetic. And people (mainly young) wanna compare James to Jordan. Hahahaha!!!

What did that game have to do with Jordan and yet he was brought up.

On the court, he was.

If so, why didn't he win a championship before '92?

 There are plenty of reasons to like him.

Because he can't have one... No one can nowadays... All of them get crucified for one wrong step

The "decision" was a joke. The statements were jokes. I just don't like the guy. Not a big deal, just don't like him. The attempts to compare his career to Jordan's bother me as well. I was the 13 year old with 8 Jordan posters as wallpaper in his room, rocked #23 for 12 years myself and will forever love his gameplay.

There's not a doubt in my mind that if he didn't retire that they would have won 8 in a row.  Hakeem's Rockets were good, but Jordan was the man.

That's true to some extent, but there are a few guys.  Kobe comes to mind.

What does it matter when he won his rings? Players entered the NBA later then AND there were those pesky Pistons as well.

Its already laughable to question his legacy and stamping on the game as the greatest ever. With that said, to each their own. But with a very realistic possibility of 8 in a row, that's insane!
