Ugh had to know Lebron would come out like a monster in this game

That last three was a heat check. The mid-ranger game him confidence. I expect this game to go down to the wire.

He is, but it won't matter for Miami if they continue failing to cover and close out the outside shooters. San Antonio makes one more pass and it's an open triple.

Not about the Heat or Spurs specifically, but a flagrant foul should be able to be shot by anyone - for the reason Tony Parker just showed. And if I'm wrong about that rule, then Parker shooting after he just got winded seems silly.

You're not wrong, I just said the exact same thing

I believe in the NZ and Australian game they let anyone take the shots - same with a technical actually (and a tech's two shots). It means you actually don't want to foul guys in that way.

That sounds like a solid strategy, and it would be nice to have it implemented in the NBA.

Another thing I prefer over the American game is fewer timeouts. Makes the game less stop-start at the end.

That could be something worth looking into, though I admittedly have never given much thought to changing the amount of timeouts.

Good work by the Heat, especially late, but [profanity removed] me Ginobli was useless near the end. Ah well, should be a good series from here.

He was terrific in the first one and a half games against Miami thus far, so I'm curious to see how he responds.

Everytime Bosh gets pumped my blood pressure rises, what an irritating guy

That's my reason #73. :P

Series tied. LeBron handled business, Bosh cooked all game and Wade made some timely buckets. Props to Birdman and Ice-O as well.

Next two games are huge, great opportunity for Miami at home

But if the Spurs split the series in Miami I think they win the series.

Yeah, will need to be a lot better in Miami.

LeBron was incredible after HT though. I can't stand the Heat for a whole raft of reasons, but I think LBJ will ultimately be remembered as up there with Michael Jordan when he retires. If I found the team more likeable I'd be all over his bandwagon.

Doug Collins with the perfect point. Miami is down late. LeBron James drives, a big man closes, he makes the pass to the right to Chris Bosh, who is beyond the three point line. No criticism.
