2013-2014 NBA Season

It is finally here!

Will someone upset the Heat?

Will the Thunder and Bulls thrive with the return of their super stars?

Will Doc Rivers help the Clips put it all together?

Will young teams like GS, Denver, and Cleveland make playoff runs?

Are the Pacers for real?

Which NY team will come out on top?

How bad will the Lakers and Celtics be?

Can't wait to watch the Bulls-heat tonight, I'm officially declaring the Bulls as my team with mutual interest in Wizards.

I think the Warriors could take the west

Dunno who to root for since the Lakers are out of the playoff race and the NBA blocked the recreation of the Sonics since they're dicks.

I like them better than any team in the West until the Spurs prove they're still time proof and Westbrook comes back the same/better... Clippers are also really dangerous but they're still the Clippers. Wouldn't be surprised to see them finish as the 1 seed though.

I just think GS offense will be top of the league and I really love the Iggy signing. I'd be really surprised if they weren't a top 3 seed. I definitely think they could reach the WCF.

& Sorry buddy but I think your Grizz will be hoping for 5th. ;)

Not a believer in Houston this year but they'll make the playoffs.

Clippers with Doc scares me... Big time

Everyone's gonna hate on the grizz again.. That's cool.. Small market and they play real basketball I get it

Warriors have good depth.. Curry goes down and they're screwed... Iggy is one of my favorite players in the league

It should.  Him and Pop are the best coaches in the league.  I honestly don't know which one I like more, but they're both really really good.

True but you could say that for any of the superstars. Curry's obviously the heart of their team but in that event Iggy could be the floor general and they would still have a solid 5

Y'all are sleeping on the Rockets. NBA finals this year will be the Rockets vs the Heat. I'm calling it right now.

LOL Dwight sucks and Jeremy Lin is a joke.  They have James Harden and that's it.

Ummm guys, what's happening in LA right now?  I'm legitimately confused...

Ok, you have watched a lot of basketball I see. Ever heard of Chandler Parsons? Asik? Beverley? Tjones? Donut? The whole team is young and will improve from last season.

Dwight is happy and healthy, Lin will be coming off the bench as a spark plug. Sucks and a joke? Ah, a bitter Laker fan. Nevermind.

The West is the Thunder's to lose.

Agreed. As long Durant, Westbrook and to a lesser extent, Ibaka, stay healthy, they'll take the West.

The Thunder are a contender sure. But saying that the West is theirs to lose just isn't the case. The West are pretty stacked with the Spurs, Thunder, Rockets, Clippers, Grizzlies and Warriors. I still like the Rockets chances though.

No other team has the elite talent that the Thunder have. 2 legitimate top 10 players including the 2nd best player by far in the league and a 3rd guy who could probably be the best player on 10 other teams. I'm slightly concerned about the supporting cast around Durant, Westbrook and Ibaka, but those 3 alone should be good for 75-80 points a night. No other team except maybe Miami can come close to that. It's not like they are bad defenders either.

Harden and Howard (when healthy and happy) are top 10 players. Asik is a great defender and rebounder, Parsons is one of the leagues up and coming SF's. Beverley is fantastic on the defensive end as well. This team can run, score and defend. We just have to wait and see. But I wouldn't count out any of the teams I mentioned. The West will be tight IMO, but I have huge expectations for the Rockets this year.

Howard isn't that good, at least he hasn't been the past couple seasons. Definitely not a top 10 player u less he has a massive bounce back. I would take Westbrook and Durant over Harden.

Durant sure, but I would definitely take Harden over Westbrook. And no matter how you spin it, when you factor in defense, Howard is a top 10 player imo. About 20 points, 12-14 rebounds, 2-3 blocks per game and altering a lot of shots outside of that. He played injured in a system he hated with a ballhogging shootfirst player he didn't get along with. He will bounce back. And his stats doesn't even put justice to the impact he has on ballgames. My 2 cents anyway

He hasn't been good since he got hurt in Orlando. His defense has been in decline and he isn't a good offensive player. Its possible he does bounce back, but I wouldn't count on him looking like the Dwight of old. Hardens a great player, but he isn't at Westbrook's level IMO.

Pistons have some talent. Drummond looks like he's going to be a beast. Josh smith is a star and Monroe looks really good.

This is a good game.

Wow. Michael Carter Williams has looked INCREDIBLE in his first game. Against the Heat nonetheless. 22 points, 7 rebs, 12 assists and 9 steals! Wow.

And the Sixers beating the Heat. Didn't see that one coming.

13 point win for the Rockets. Dwight tied his career high in rebounds with 26. Added 17 points on 8-14 shooting and a couple of blocks. The team looked a bit sluggish, but overall a good start to the season.
