Not sure why everyone is leaping for Thomas, considering we just got Monroe. I'd take Mack, not even close.

A solid center means a good line, especially with the other pieces we have in place on the line. 

 

If Gino was developed and a solid C I'd take Jordan Cameron, it would instantly spread out the opposing defense and give the run offense more room to breathe. 

 

My third choice would be Phil Taylor, a big, nasty force of a man, instantly would make the defense better than they already are.

Probably the guy who sees what our weakest spots are? Monroe would be superb with Mack at C. 

 

Fact of the matter is Thomas is one guy. We would be significantly upgraded in one spot, one facet of the game. We already have the piece at LT that we need, being Monroe. If we were to have Mack it would instantly benefit the offensive line as a whole, not just his spot, while of course helping our offense become more reliable, which would in the end help the defense and just overall make us a better team.

 

You have to take into account all of that before you leap head over heels for a stud like Thomas when making a choice.

Over guys we have now, I would take Thomas, Mack, Gordon (as a 2) , Obongonnya, and Cameron. That's 5 just on offense.

On defense, where do I begin? Ngata is done...
