If you could have one player from the Browns, who would it be?

Didn't make the topic for Steelers because screw them, that's why.

Next week we have a BYE so here's something to talk about in the meantime.

For me it's Joe Haden. Just image what he could do in our secondary. Haden, Webb and Smith would be the best trio in the league IMO. He's a top 5 CB in my eyes and he's only 24.

Can't go wrong with Phil Taylor either considering Ngata looks lost and Taylor would be a huge upgrade over him at this point.

Jordan Cameron with Flacco throwing the ball would be insane. Browns got a steal with him.

They have some talent to choose from...

Phil Taylor, Josh Gordon, Jordan Cameron, Alex Mack, Joe Thomas, Jamal Sheard, TJ Ward, Mitchell Schwartz.....Paul Kruger??

I personally want to take Jordan Cameron, but going with team needs I would have to take Alex Mack. You need a good center to have a great O-line.

Joe Thomas.  Franchise LT and never missed a game.  I'm going to guess that Mack is popular here, but I think our center problem is more scheme than anything else.  Next player might be Phil Taylor then Haden.

Onel Cousins.  Boy do I miss the big lug.

Probably go with Joe Thomas.  He's only 28.  My second choice would be Haden.  I can easily flip flop on those two.

Joe Thomas and it's not even close. After him, it would be Alex Mack because he's been a beast. If our OL could block better, we wouldn't need to worry about targets because people would get open if Joe had like 5-7 seconds to throw. CBs can't cover that long. After those two, probably Haden because he's a great CB and having him, Smith & Webb would be ridiculous. After that, Phil Taylor for NT to replace Haloti Ngata. I wouldn't mind Jackson if he could stay healthy. Cameron looks legit.

Not trying to hi-jack this thread (I'd take Oniel Cousins, then Jordan Cameron, then Alex Mack, then Joe...what the heck they have too many great players)...but I'm curious what kind of move they are going to pull in the off-season to shore up the QB situation. That team has a shot to win now. Hard to expect that they will make a move at QB in the draft because that could equate to another 2 or 3 yr process at best

Tough call, for a bad team they have a lot of useful players.  Thomas is probably their best, but with center being our big need I'd have to go with Alex Mack.  Haden, Ward, and Cameron are logical choices as well.

Joe Thomas
Joe Haden
Alex Mack
Jordan Cameron
Phil Taylor
Barkevious Mingo
Josh Gordon
TJ Ward
Mitchell Schwartz
In that order. I love Mingo and if we had more pass rush issues he would be higher.

Why? It's one of the few threads (or series of threads) that actually shows respect for our opponents.

Also a bit if an escape from the rest of ravens talk. Lol

I would say Haden as I feel he is their best player but the Ravens a C is more of a need than CB and the Browns have a stud in Alex Mack so I would go with him.

1. Based off our line play it would be Alex Mack or Joe Thomas.

2. Defensively cannot go wrong with a lock down like Joe Haden as Webb has been beat several times this year.
3. Passing game Jordan Cameron to open up the middle of the field or Josh Gordon as the guy can run the entire route tree.

Not sure why everyone is leaping for Thomas, considering we just got Monroe. I'd take Mack, not even close.

A solid center means a good line, especially with the other pieces we have in place on the line.

If Gino was developed and a solid C I'd take Jordan Cameron, it would instantly spread out the opposing defense and give the run offense more room to breathe.

My third choice would be Phil Taylor, a big, nasty force of a man, instantly would make the defense better than they already are.

And they're good.

Browns really have a lot of talented players huh

I'd say Haden would be my choice. He's one of the most talented CB and still young. Joe Thomas, Jordan Cameron, Alex Mack, and Josh Gordon would round out my top 5. I also really like Mingo, but he is still developing. Long term he might be the best player on their defense.

Sounds crazy... but Jabal Sheard

Sheard looked like a future all-pro in his rookie season. I guess he has lacked consistency.
