We will beat them both. and beat them good. The real question is: When all the dust settles, will we be 12-4 or 11-5?

I admire your optimism! Hope you're spot on!

we have the bye now and should be able to win against the browns.
I am not impressed by the bengals at all. They have a great D Line - so do we.
They sack the QBs - so do we.

We just need to score and everything is good. Maybe play some football in the first half and not wait until a wake up call late in the third...

The one advantage we have that they do not, they have a Dalton, who is not impressive, and we have Joe.

I reckon we can't play much worse than this. Yet, if few things went our way, we could have easily been 6 and 1. Freak Denver second half aside, our defense is holding up OK for the most part, we just need to score more points and earlier in the game. This team is far better than current standings would suggest.

9-7 or 8-8 dont see how we can get more win then that not being able to run the ball or hold Joe up.This is turning out to be a very bad season.

btw Brandon Weedon is a bum.

We need to start playing harder and more physical! And I mean physical WWE smackdown football. If a browns player gets hurt than that's a bonus.

our left guard has not been great at all, and if he has back problems lets put either Jah reid or someone in there who can give a better effort. Because osemilie (lol killed his name lol) has been horrible. also Doss has been on point. done an excellent job we need to sign him to a longer contract . he been exaclty what we needed and what we wanted him to be.. but we def neeed deonte thompson . ..wait now we have way to many good reciever lol cant keep everybody.

Sorry, but this team is only as good as the record. Though the team's potential is higher, they are playing below their potential. Their play is generally sloppy. If the team was a person, I'd describe them as clumsy.

I think the point is that a team's record can be misleading. To be fair, we use this argument all the time when we talk about sides like the Chiefs, Broncos, Falcons and Patriots.

Way I see it, we should have a better record but we don't. It happens. One great pass or a stupid penalty (or non-challenge...) can change a game. From here, things can either stay the same or get better, as I don't think they can get much worse.

My point, I think fans try to make things into something that it is not. Last season the Raven won the Superbowl. I would never say the Superbowl win made them look better than they were. They won, that's what matters and they deserved it, but I am sure fans from some defeated teams want to think something different.

This season the team lost some close games but the teams that won deserved those wins not the Ravens. All I am saying is would-da, could-da, should-da is not a game worth playing. The Ravens are what the record says until THEY change the record.

Totally agree with you; teams that beat us were playing better balls than us.  We are what our record shows.....

We are outcoached in most of the games; our run game last year was not great but good enough to take some pressure off of Joe, and this year Castillo installs a system that our run game can't go through the college run defense.  We better go back to who we are and improve on that.

PS: We need to rely on Joe's arm to open up some running game too......

It'll be a tough one on the road against a good defense but we will get a win and set ourselves up good for the Bengals game. Our best chance at the playoffs is the division. Even a wild card may take 11 wins this year although SD is in 6th at 4-3 right now.

i wanna make sure joe right hand is protected at all time during this game meaning you have to pay attetion when the defense overload the right side of the field and try to sneak a blitz or the left side at the same time

no-hurddle shotgun offense will spot the surprise blitz and that's Joe's bread and butter.....

here is the reality. we lose this game and the bengals win theirs, we are done.

We lose this game and sweep the bengals, this division is ours.

The thing that makes me the maddest is I cant even make fun of other teams because we are sooooooo bad.....

Dont have the personal to fixs the O-line, Secondary cant cover, ST's sucks, cant score more then 17 points a game, offence goes 3&out for the entire first half, cant run the ball, cant stop the run, head coach makes the most emotional mental mistakes ever game........7-2 the next 9 games just doesn't seem realistic to me.

Well we could still lose it.  We'd be a game back even then.

That is what everyone said before the Steelers screw up. And before the Bills fiasco. And the Packers as well. When does this magical mystical "fire up" actually happen?

Precisely!  There's a lot being said about how early it still is.  How long does early last?

We normally do well after a bye, but this season has been very different from normal.

I just hope the coaches finally embrace the fact that we have to run the offense through Flacco. We saw this second half vs Pitt and it was a thing of beauty.

Hopefully the defense can rest up and get healthy. Same thing with our RBs. We need Ray Rice to be Ray Rice again in the second half.

Cleveland is a must win for this team and I think we do just that in emphatic fashion.

If Jason Campbell has a good game against us, I will then agree we have problems with the D...

Who knows who will be starting by that time...Maybe Brett Favre? Lol

guys...if we lose 2 of the next 3 games we are done. we then tank and finaly get to experience a top 10 pick to make up for the debacle that is matt elam.

I hope this is sarcasm. I like to think our fans are more intelligent than that, so I assume that this is the punchline to a joke I missed

U Know its not how you start , its how u finish. i can see the ravens ripping 6 wins after the bye, look at the schedule, most teams have QB issues, browns, bears, vikings,  and inconsistent QBs with bungels, jets, and lions will have a banged or even an injured stafford by time we play them, he's fragile as a glass, so its possible that we rip 6 wins after bye as long as harb doesn't "play aggressive", lol, and cost us games,

no its not. it means we would be4 and 6 with a tough schedule where we would realisticaly lose a few more while cinci have a pretty easy one and would only need 3 to 4 more wins to clinch. also the afc wild cards would not include a team from our division.

tank and fialy get a superstar.

Toughest game on our schedule is @Cincinatti. Second half for us is pretty light. @Detroit and home for NE and Cinci are the only other games that look imposing on paper.

Cinci still has @Pitt, @Miami, @ SD and  Indy at home as well as the 2 games against us.

I'd take our second half schedule easily, and while they do have a leg up right now what is really going to matter is the heads up games. I think week 17 will be the deciding factor for who wins the division.

really...like last year...we started off with a 9 and 2 record.
