Win or lose today, is this the most frustrating season of the Harbaugh and Billick eras?

Agree.   Other teams come out on fire against the Ravens while we never put in a full 60 minutes of football.   watching Peyton call his offensive to the line for the no huddle and then watching the Raven's slow, sluggish efforts is embarrassing.

Watching Brian Billick waste Ray Lewis's BEST years was something I will never forget, This season is nothing compared to the Boller era!

Touche. But you MUST include the Front Office in that too!

One could say that they wasted this year in the same fashion. It's just not as tragic because they got the ole' vets to the top of the hill.

It's funny how spoiled we are. It's one bad season, for the love of God. This is a good team, we will improve it next year. We have Ozzie Newsome. We also just won a Super Bowl.

To answer the question: 2007 was much worse.

P.S.: This season isn't over yet

I think what people forget about 2007 is that the losses were excruciating in a wide variety of ways. We literally invented new ways to lose with Cleveland and New England, but we also had some humiliating games like Pittsburgh, Cincy and Indy.

With the 2013 team, at least we're keeping every game close. With the 2007 team, which we pretty much thought was our last chance at contending for the Super Bowl at the time, they would mix those types of losses with horrific blowouts...which are not a better way to lose.

This year doesn't even come close. For me, its a toss up between the year we lost at home to the Tennessee Titans in the playoffs and the year we lost in the playoffs after Steve McNair led us to a 13-3 regular season record. In the former playoff game,I sat in the stands thinking if we only had a QB we would be winning. In the latter version, Steve McNair saved his worst game for last that year. Believe it or not, those two years were more frustrating to me than the loss to NE in the playoffs when Lee Evans relaxed instead of squeezing the go ahead score in the waning moments in Foxboro. Were it not for that dropped pass by a veteran receiver, we are talking about Joe Flacco as one of the elite five QBs in the league.

That was 03, Anthony Wright was the starting QB that game and for some reason, Brian Billick in his infinite offensive wisdom decided that it would be a GREAT idea to let him throw the ball nearly 40 times while giving Jamal 15 carries after he came an eyelash away from the single season rushing record. Sickening it was.

My most frustrating season would have to be 2007. The Ravens came into that season with high hopes after going 13-3, the core of that D was intact and we were hoping that with Billick calling the offensive plays that year (he didnt call the plays prior) that the offense would take off. Instead, Cmac, Reed, Rolle, Ngata, and Ray all got hurt. Mcnair got hurt but clearly wasn't 100% from the start...then Ogden got hurt, Boller and others.

It was hard to watch, but that season gave us position to finally get a QB, and Ray Rice as well.

This season is frustrating for different reasons. The talent is there. The defense is very good but the team just isn't clicking.

I'm thinking maybe it's too early for this question.

After all, the season isn't over and we could easily be singing a different tune about this year if we get to celebrate another Super Bowl victory in February.

This season has been frustrating because of all the close losses. We've gotten some rough breaks and played opponents at their best. But while we're on the verge of not making the playoffs, we're on the precipice of being a great team. Things are slowly coming together, which is what you'd expect out of a reassembled squad. All we have to do is make the postseason. We still haven't played a complete game and we've proven we can be competitive with anyone.

This isn't that much of a frustrating season. Ofcourse we've been sucking but hell we just won the SB. The team attributed some goodwill to this season. SB hangovers are real. And I am affording this team a pass and allowing them to re tool and do their thing again this offseason.

2007 was misreable and frustrating.

The thing that has been most frustrating this year are our spoiled fans and their barrage of negativity after this team paid their dividend.
