But if you were going to lay the defeat at one person's feet, it would have to be Harbaugh.

 

I think what we are going to find is that he was blessed with a team possessing immense talent and as that talent ebbs Harbaugh is going to be very mediocre as a coach.

Really? Dude are you even watching the game? The Steelers punted ONCE this game and that was back in the 1st quarter. They had one drive stopped by a fumble. Other than that the defense did not stop them once.

And the coaches.  It's a tie game if Harbaugh doesn't give up 3 free points on a inexcusably stupid coaching decision.

 

If he wasn't coming off of a Super Bowl victory, this is the type of game that would have gotten Harbaugh fired.  Now we're stuck with this clueless moron who uses his coaching position as a way to employ his bum friends.  He had nothing to do with the Super Bowl victory last year, that's pretty clear.

It's tough to get going when the defense never makes the other team punt and lets them take 10 minutes to make FGs. You don't get the ball that often.

Normally I'd be depressed after a loss to the Steelers, but both teams are just so mediocre right now. Even if the Ravens managed to win, there still wouldn't be a lot of positives from this game or the season so far.

So we go another game without scoring a TD until the 4th Quarter. We give them a FG after a stupid onside kick call. Notice how we move the ball when we try to throw? I think that might happen because we have talented WRs that create mismatches and a QB who just won a SB. I wonder why we don't try to use them until we are forced to?

I feel bad.  We're going to hold onto a bad coach for another 5+ years because that's the way this organization is, and that coach is the reason the QB will never flourish.

If anyone wants to argue the win, it's the defences fault and coaching too.

 

Pitt D was just balling so it was hard to get anything rolling (not to mention the penalties). Our D was leaking yards to their run game all day. 

 

Sorry oz, but what looked like a good investment in the beginning now makes no sense because we're  not getting a good return.

 

IMO, this is a lost season considering the way we've been playing. Meaning, I don't see us busting this out when we can't get good consistent play.

Because once again the defense needed to stop their offense to give OUR offense one last chance to win. And once again they failed.

I'm not mad at the offense at all, and the onside kick didn't matter. Joe under threw a TD pass but the steelers dropped one as well... But our defense really really let us down. And a lot of dumb penalties

Brilliant call by Harbaugh.

Not only does it all but guarantee the Steelers get a FG to push their lead to 7 points, but now even if the Ravens finally score a TD, which will only tie the game, the Steelers should still have enough time left to drive downfield to score the winning FG.

 

Harbs lack of any feel for the ebb and flow of the game is just comical.

 

Considering what's happened, this post is quite comical.

 

We lost, in the exact way I said we would.

And it takes the whole Defense the whole game, and like 3 8 minute drives to let the Steelers score. You can thank Joe for keeping us in this game in spite of the Defense, ST's, and Run game.

I know the Ravens were horrible at times in the game. BUT . . Harbough has cost of two pluckin' games in a row with his "decisions"
