Not new, only 'recent' host city to make the playoffs was Tampa Bay in 2000.  We all saw the ESPN report too.  That being said, I think th Jets have overachieved thus far this year.

Coughlin will not be fired mid-season regardless of what happens the rest of the way out.  You can bet on that.  They have too much respect for him, he's a terrible coach but he still brought that franchise two Super Bowls.
