Coaches On the Hot Seat

LOL awesome!

I'm super delighted. I hate Schiano even more this year after the way he handled the MRSA and Josh Freeman situations.

Left on my list are Allen, Schwartz and possibly Mike Smith. Bet those happen as soon as I leave to go to the store...

Sadly, NFLN is must watch TV today. They're going to be live all day with breaking news.

Nah, I can just get all my news here!

Schwartz just got fired reports Ian Rapoport (?).

Yup, hearing the same report on NFL Network.  That makes five down.  I wonder who else is toast.

And Frazier and Chudzinski are also out!  5 coaches have fallen already!  Wow!

Ah Black Monday. It's so exciting. Still some pieces left to fall.

I figured they'd give Frazier another year in Minnesota. He just needed to find a QB really.

Oh let's not forget that Kubiak was fired a few weeks back, so I guess that makes 6 coaches down so far?

On the flip side I read the other day that the Texans are supposed to announce their new HC soon.

I kind of liked them so I feel bad for them but that's a ton of turnover. More to come maybe. Just a few potential off my head: Coughlin (retirement?) and Dennis Allen.

In a couple of years, names like Rex Ryan, Mike Smith, Joe Philbin, Jeff Fisher, and Jason Garrett will find their pink slips, too. Along with people who are unfortunate enough to coach for franchises like Cleveland, Jacksonville, and Oakland.

Coaches remaining with worse records during their tenure than those who have already been fired are Gus Bradley (4-12) and Dennis Allen (8-24).

Agreed; the Vikes finished their season going 3-2-1 and it appeared Christian Ponder was the weak link (just by comparing how differently Cassel and Ponder performed).

If I may, I'd like to take a moment to reflect on the ineptitude, embarrassment, and infamous legacy Jim Schwartz has brought to the NFL.

29-51 regular season record, 0-1 during playoffs, slew of arrests and legal issues with players/team, DIRTY play of team (not even going to sugarcoat it), among other things.

Please hire him, Cleveland! We'll whip on this fool for years.

Schwartz is basically a carbon copy of Jeff Fisher except Fisher can hide it more effectively and since he was with the Oilers/Titans for so long - and so quiet - people assume he is a good guy. He's not. Dirty players/teams, arrogant, and not very good.

The WORST part of Schwartz is that he was from Baltimore and people usually mention that about him which reflects poorly on us. Shameful.

I'm done ranting now!

The Patriots have give permission to the Browns to interview Josh McDaniels. Not surprising since Lombardi is a fan of McDaniels and there was talk that they could trade for Ryan Mallet as Lombardi is also a fan of Mallet.

Josh Gordon should become available if this happens, and unfortunately they don't have a QB McDaniels can trade away. So Does Tim Tebow leave his comfy new place with the SEC Network if McDaniels wants him in Cleveland?
