Next up: Steelers Week!

Basically, this game will come down to the "Turn over" game.  Both run games suck, both OL's suck, but you guys have an edge on us, QB's - I give it to Ben because of his escape ability and overall talent.  Running backs - I will give to you by a slight margin, WR & TE's  I give to us and special teams I give a slight favor to you.  DL-  You win   and  DB's and S's I give a slight edge to you  because of your DL and LB's.  Overall, no matter what you say or think about your team...the above analysis is fact.  If turn overs and special teams are equal during the game, we will win because of Ben.  If he can escape a few times,( BIG IF- we have one step up from a High school left tackle ) we have the edge on our WR and TE's.  Even with our non existent LT, we will throw short passes and screens to ease the pressure off of Ben and then we might get lucky on a few runs or 15 -20 yard passes down the middle.  If Ben does get time look for some bombs.  Anyway, the turn over battle and special teams will dictate the outcome.  We have been slaughtered in this area 4/5 games.  I am a betting man, but I would not bet on this game.  Once again, we should expect a 3 point or less win by either team.  Since I am wearing my Black and Gold glasses, I think the Stillers by 3.  :>)

It's here.. Steelers week. Nows the time to get BACK on track. We could very take a strong hold of the AFCN in the next 3 games... but first, its the Rivalry.

as pissed off as I am right now at my team because of their horrible game play for 6 weeks now; you forget that the Ravens are 3-3 and the stillers just got their 1st win.  lol!  advantage Ravens!  and, like you said above in bold...because of the Ravens defense, it's probably gonna be a long day for Big Ben.  but home field advantage..stillers!  since I am wearing my Black and Purple glasses and this is our home here on the Ravens forum.  Ravens win shockingly by 10pts.

This will be the usual hard hitting rivalry it always is, but you are delusional if you think Ben is a better QB than Joe. Overall talent? 'Cmon man!

OK OK..look , I know you are biased as well as I am...I simply go on statistics and QB ratings coupled with what each QB has around him.  Ya gotta believe we have the WORST OL in the league and no run game, yet Ben has an above average QB rating.  Heck don't listen to me..just ask the 100 or so Sports writers in the country. Are they biased????     Regardless, I know you will not find One Steeler fan that thinks Flacco is better than Ben and there is no Raven fan that thinks Ben is better than Flacco.  So whatever....the bottom line is that on any given Sunday they can beat each other.  But given the way each QB has played so far this year, I choose to bet with Ben. Looking forward to the game this week..  I would wish you guys luck, but I wouldn't mean it :>)

Yes.. it is Steelers week. Yes.. this is the same old rivalry.

But.

I have one stat:

Ravens Sacks on the Season:

22

Steelers Sacks on the Season:

7

Simply put, we get to the QB more. With Mike Adams in the starting role, look for Big Ben and that O-Line to have maaajor troubles. As shifty as Ben is, it's hard to do when your pocket has collapsed before your eyes in all directions. So interior pressure will be needed, but I believe in Art Jones, Brandon Williams, Canty, and our D tackles to get that solidified.

If we can get to the QB, we can win this game.

Mike Adams, meet the 2013 Terrell Suggs.

really?  Ben "just" won his first game man! his first game in 6 weeks.  at least Flacco has won 3 and has played pretty well even with that trash of an offense that we have at the moment.  I don't mind your biasedness for your team cause I feel the same way about my Ravens but damn...at least keep it real brah!

As great as the Ravens D has been over the years it never really had a great TEAM pass rush, well all that has changed and Rothisberger is going to have a dirty jersey this Sunday.

I just hope the Ravens can win this big game on the road.  This game is the season for the Steelers they are going to be ready. This is going to be a bloodbath.  Nobody get hurt for the Ravens and come away with a W, I don't care how ugly it looks.  It can't look much uglier than last week, and the Pitts D can't be as good as GBay D played last week.

LOL on the wish you luck thing. I'm with ya.

While I haven't seen any squealers games, I do know that Joe has not only had horrible protection and zero run game, but no TE and up until now, no one dependable at WR other than Torrey. IMO it's pretty amazing that he has been able to do anything this year. But now it's squealers time and that should wake up the sleep walking O line and RBs. Watch out! Here we come!

I'm not gonna try to debate the QB thing with you, as I would defend Jen just like you are. But you should take another look at your criteria. After seeing the truth, you may want to change that bet.

Absolutely....I have no idea how we can do this with a 3rd string left OL, and make shift center ,but this will be the key.  Our ability to throw short passes and schemes as well as run occasionally is KEY.  BTW  Adams is not starting, he is soooo bad we put in a utility player in last week..Keven Beachum.lol.  We will have to help him out with an offensive ( pun intended)  scheme along with TE and RB help,  which will hurt Ben's potential targets .  Ben will get sacked, but I am hoping he can scramble enough to do some damage.  As I stated above , if we can stay away from putting the rock on the turf, with no interceptions,  we will have a good chance this weekend. Just gotta stay away from 3rd and longs....... Ouch !   A lot of "if's" !!!!!!!!

Not even close man.

We are tied at the bottom with Jacksonville for the lowest YPC and Flacco is #4 for the most sacks. Not even close.

As for the Sports writers lmao! Yes man! They are absolutely biased!

Edit: and one more thing. If it's a turnover battle, you lose! Your defense just got their first INT this past week! smh

What a first sight for the QB's and Tackles. ;)

Actually the LT would be Legursky filling in @ LT.

RT will be Mike Adams

Ah I see, figured I would screw that one up lol, oh well, whoever he's facing.. I would not want to be on Sunday, no matter the game check :P

They're 1-4 and we're 3-3, and I saw in the Sun that they were favored?

It is the Sun...

I almost feel bad for the Steelers. Trading for a guy who gets injured sucks big time. We know.

#Lee Evans

Much worse than Evans...they get to keep Levi Brown for years to come :p
