There's nothing like Steeler week! Will no doubt feel like a Playoff game.

We're going to get their absolute best which scares me but I think it will come down to our defense outplaying theirs.

23-9 Ravens.
1 Flacco to Rice TD. 1 pick 6 from D Smith and a lot of field goals. Ravens record 8 sacks and 2 FF. Suggs & Doom both have 2.5 and Canty gets one that will be Bart Scott rememberable!

Just saw Flacco is 5th in the league in passing yards...Does this mean Hardbaugh likes him now??

no it means he sucks and lost the game for us. duh.

where is he in completion percentage? above 63 percent, if so then great.if hes below58 percent it puts his passing yards in question as it pertains to how well hes doing.

This is a very losable game. Steelers games always make me ill. If they beat us, they'll only be a .5 game back and have a head-to-head win... how is that even possible?

Is he doing his part to put his team in a position to win the game? That's the indicator of how well he is doing.

nice to nitpick.   Where is he overall statistically?

Here ill help you.  http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/quarterbackRating

I hear you, and it may seem miniscule, but Jake Locker is gone, as is Bryan Hoyer.

Were it not for that 5 pick game - which did in fact happen so there's no real logic to me saying "Were it not for that 5 pick game", but he'd have a much better rating.

But your point is duly noted. I myself do not think he has played as poorly as that rating suggests. We don't have a good offensive line right now, nor do we have great receivers when 2 of our top 3 go down.

I'd like him to put up numbers in line with the payday he sought and win... When or if he ever does that this season I'll give him credit for a week.    Right now he hasn't had any game that makes me say I'm glad the Ravens paid this guy.

It's week 7 where is our quarterback????

In case you haven't noticed, Joe is usually on his back, or being harassed or hurried.  If the O-Line could keep Joe upright - and actually provide a pocket, we all know what Joe can do.  Don't put the poor offensive play on Joe - instead take a look at the O-Line, and the lack of receivers Joe has that can make a play.  With the exception of Torrey, and maybe Jacoby, Joe hasn't had real playmaker receiver, or tight end (except Pitta who is injured).

I dont either. But some people here are blaming the rest of the player and leaving flacco out as if his some god that cant be touched.

Well guess what? Flacco IS part of the problem. Flacco has to get better too. A lot better. If anything think flacco will be handed a basket of gift w/ pro bowl receivers and pro bowl line for the next 3-5 years, man they are kidding themselves. This is what flacco will have to face for the next 3-5 years w/ Ravens. His contract dictate he do so and his contract dictates he be the best player of this organization.

Of course his no where near that given his circumstances of bad oline, and run game. I dont ask him to put up top 5 QB statistically. Not even top 10 with the circumstance of the offense. But he shouldnt be sitting bottom of the barrell with rest of the QB losers.

Well....if we happened to finish the season below .500 that might put us in position where we could make a move for a Sammy Watkins....

I live in Pgh and want to go to this game so bad! I hate being poor! But seriously, this really could be anyone's game. The Steelers are hungry for a win and are trying to reclaim their pride. They'll be extra motivated so here's hoping our offense can get it together.

I dont think the RAVENS will loose, but if they do, I am not visiting these boards for at least a week.

the steelers are better than the record shows......if they win this they are right back in this division race

it will be a good game but I have a feeling the ravens are playing the steelers at a bad time.....steelers win this game 24-20

that's true

but the ravens won one lost one so on and so forth, the steelers lost four in a row had a week off to think about why had a tune up game to get back on track and now should be ready and dedicated to righting this ship.....now is that enough no, but it could produce results.....you will face the best steelers team to take the field this year

If we can go head up with arron rodgers like we did. Big Ben def wont be a problem!!

That's true. I would argue however, that it's easier to score or move the ball on the Packers D than on the Steelers defense.

Whatever we did in that last quarter, when the offense was finally able to move the ball, we should try to build on that and spread it out over a whole game.

Good feeling about this one. Team who makes the least amount of mistakes wins. Ravens haven't lost two in row. Steelers have won two in a row in forever. Good thing is Ravens have never been able to run vs Steelers, so it will be throw throw throw and thats the way you beat them. Steelers have had problems rushing the Qb, favors Ravens.

I'm really happy how the defense is performing. Some times they still give up too much yardage in the run game, but they are improving alot. Gotta love that pass rush.

Worst case scenario: We are one solid offensive draft away from being SB contenders. But I think, that this team is talented enough to be in the playoffs already. Let's wait and see. :)

So Matt Ryan has an all-star cast around him in the passing and running game.  And a decent offensive line to boot.

They are 1-4.

Who's fault is it?
