If you could have one player from the Green Bay Packers, who would it be?

Bart Starr

Well, if we're going that way, Reggie White no question :).

Cobb seems the easy choice, but I'd take Jordy Nelson.  We could use a big end zone target with soft hands other than just Marlon Brown.  Nelson seems like a really reliable guy in pressure situations where you have to have a catch.  Most of the YAC drag routes and stuff Cobb does we already have Torrey for.

Matthews or Finley. Also I know hes not on the team anymore but the packer I always wanted was Woodson. As a Wolverines fan for college football and a ravens fan I was hoping Ozzie took a chance with him this past offseason but it didn't happen.

No need to neg people for telling the truth .Rodgers with our defense would make peyton  look average. I love Joe but rodgers would be my choice.

Jordy Nelson. I don't get where people are saying that we should have Matthews on the field at the same time as both Suggs/Dumervil. All three are OLB's, or at least OLB's in a 3-4 D. We couldn't have all three on the field at the same time. Now, as a rotation, we'd have the best pass rush that we've ever had, and it wouldn't even be close. But all three on the same field at the same time on the same team? No way.

I'm not sure how our defense would help Rodgers look better than Manning. Also, I don't think Rodgers would function well within the Raven offense scheme as constructed right now. He is a part scheme / part talent QB in my opinion. Flacco is tough and big. Rodgers couldn't take the in-the-pocket hits that Flacco does.

all offensive coordinators build the offense around the qb Rodgers is the best qb in the league atm in my opinion. if  peyton had a tough schedule like we do he would look average . regardless this is hypothetical and if I could pick one player off there team its not even close Rodgers is the guy .

That's including Mr Discount Doublecheck. I would take Flacco in a heartbeat over him.

You're gonna catch hell from certain people for that one.
Not saying you are wrong...people who actually watch games can make a strong argument for either guy, but people don't like it when you pick against the Anointed One

Randall Cobb was one of my absolute favorites coming out, so it pains me to go against him, but I'd take Aaron Rodgers without so much as a second thought.

I loved Cobb too.  Such a neat player.  Who do you think is better right now.  Randall Cobb or torrey smith?

I'm glad to hear that you did as well. I think they're apples and oranges, to be honest. I compared Randall Cobb to a lighter version of Percy Harvin prior the Draft, and it's been rather accurate, in my opinion. I still can't believe I saw several outlets compare him to Hines Ward. It'd be a battle between versatility out of the slot/backfield and a vertical presence on the outside, and I'm not sure if there's a way to compare the two while being fair to their skill-sets.

That's the thing about receivers.  There's just so many ways to play the position.

I loved Cobb too, I remember debating with Jamal over him and Titus Young.
As of right now, I think Torrey is better. Best deep threat in the game, and now he also runs the entire route tree.

If they were on the same field though... they'd be one of the best tandems in the league.
