If you could have one player from the Green Bay Packers, who would it be?

So this is an interesting team to do this for.

I'll say Clay Matthews.  But I did think of Rodgers.

EDIT:  Let's say someone who ISN'T Rodgers. He's just too good.

I'd say Rodgers but He is older so no.

Jermicheal Finley

Any of there top 3 WRs( Jordy Nelson , James Jones, Cobb)

Casey Hayward

I'd take Hayward because he is young, good , gets turnovers and isn't Jimmy Smith.

I think a better question is, if you could have any player NOT named Rodgers who would it be?

Casey Hayward

Webb

Jimmy

Hayward

BEAST

Rodgers.

He's too good to make a hipster/against the grain choice on someone else.

Jermichael Finley, maybe.

Wouldn't mind Josh Sitton. He's the only quality player on that offensive line, and he'd be an upgrade at LG. Randall Cobb is another thought. A healthy Bryan Bulaga would be great too.

Rodgers easily.. No way I could pass up on him.

If I had to choose someone other than him I'm going Clay Matthews on Defense

Or Randle Cobb on offense. Cobb is very versatile can be used anywhere on field in mismatches, special teams.

That's what I was thining.  Cobb and Rice on the same field.  That'd be nice.

Rodgers. I don't care that we have Flacco. You could never pass up Rodgers.

2005 Ozzie Newsome says hi.

A player I would pick is B.J Raji without a doubt. Our d-line would be nasty with him and Ngata on the same line.

That's a completely different Rodgers though lol. I doubt he'd be the same QB without Favre.

Matthews. What could an offense possibly do if Suggs, Ngata, the Smith's, Webb, Matthews and Dumervil are all on the field at the same time??

I was going to say just that.
A healthy Matthews is a beast any way. A healthy Clay Matthews on a great defense would be unbelievable.

I originally picked Rodgers, because he's the most obvious answer and while he is better than Joe, Joe is still a very good QB. The next best answer would be Matthews, but we are set at the pass rushing position as well. The one major hole in our roster is the WR position. We don't have anyone behind Torrey. My choice would be Randall Cobb.

Wait for Matthews to injure himself :P

Nah, I'd pick Clay if he didn't have these concerns

Randall Cobb and it isn't even close.. He's on pace for over 1600 yards from scrimmage and he's 23

And I really just don't like clay Matthews that much

Cobb would be nice. But with how poorly Corey Graham has been playing, Hayward might make our defense the best in the league.

The WRs are not the problem, the oline is..

But Cobb and Torrey would be a hell of a duo

Bart Starr

Clay Matthews can't stay healthy.

I don't want ANY Packers.

I kinda of agree. There is only one player  - Cobb. The rest of the team is OVERRATED. Very weak defense (edit - forgot about Hayward). Rodgers would die as our QB with our line protection and offensive scheme.

I still would pick Cobb. I would pick Hayward if I didnt think our secondary wouldn't eventually shape-up to correct their issues.

Rodgers is pretty tough too...but I don't think our record would be any different the past five weeks if Rodgers were our QB

No Torrey Cobb an d Marlon would be an absolutely beastly trio

Cobb is the obvious answer here.  He's an intriguing player who you can move around and create mismatches.  And he's very effective in the slot.

Finley is not a good TE, he has the dropsies.  You could make the argument for a healthy Clay Matthews though.

They would. Not disagreeing with you there.

But for me it's a toss up between Hayward and Cobb..

Lot's of young talent on the Packers

Rodgers. Im not even sure if any of his receivers would look be half as good on other team w/o him.

The guy has one of the worst oline, worst rb(at least in his past 7years) and he still puts up the best stats every year.
