Sure he's missed some passes.  But how is it that you know that some of those misses were not on the WRs?  And while watching NFL rewind(I have a DVR) did you not notice the dropped passes as well? Clean pocket? You better go back and watch again and maybe take a look with an objective view. The times having a "clean pocket" were few and far between.

Living in Texas, we don't get many Ravens games on TV, but what I've found is that if you listen to the radio broadcasts, you get a much more objective picture of the games. The radio guys have to be much more descriptive, and Qadry Ishmail is very good concerning the pass plays, being a former WR. You can get a good feel for when Flacco makes a great throw or the receiver makes a great play, if Flacco makes a bad throw or the receiver screws up.

LOL!  This is coincidental.  I have an old sound system in my shed and when weather permits I sometimes listen to the game on the radio while watching it on TV(sit inside a screened in porch with doors open).  The radio broadcast leads the TV by about 8 seconds so I'm mentally prepared to watch for the best, or worst.

 

You're right.  Quadry pulls no punches with his commentary, and neither does Stan White. It definitely gives you a different perspective on what is actually going on.

Truth. Worse, I don't even know how to approach this game, especially after I was so unreasonably, unusually jacked up for last week. Seriously, a wounded NE team coming to our house? Yes, please. Turns out, it went exactly the opposite way.

I haven't even wanted to post much these last few days so as not to be that "sky is falling, doom and gloom" poster, especially during the holidays when family and friends face time has been SO AWESOME. 

 

So, it's trepidatious optimism and tempered expectations for tomorrow's kickoff that couldn't get here too soon!

Here's to the guys gutting it out tomorrow, and Joe returning to form to take what the D gives him underneath rather than going for the knock out punch too soon. Stay healthy!
